They're saying the "developed world". There are countries like vietnam
or cuba with much higher rates. Actually, russia has a very high rate
and it is far more developed than many third world countries. But one
of the paradoxes of attempts to restrict things like abortion or alcohol
or drugs, etc, is that it often just makes it more popular and appealing
for people to circumvent the rules. People like Duke just hate freedom,
particularly when it's reproductive freedom for women.

It's all those fundie kids (from various fundy Christian sects)
getting preggers and not wanting their parents to find out.
And, in many cases, when the parents do find out, they are the
ones who insist on an abortion. Of, course, the next day in

So Christianity IS a persecuted minority in the US. :)

*****
The United States has one of the highest abortion rates among developed

First off, you're showing your ignorance of math again. A high rate
doesn't confirm a high absolute number. Hong Kong is listed as having a
high rate for a developed country (many undeveloped countries have far
higher rates), but have a quite low absolute number.
http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/index.php?newsid=11834
Fundamentalist morons like yourself have tried to prevent access
to other family planning alternatives and have blocked sane sex
education, so abortion rates will be higher than places like the
netherlands, where family planning is more readily available. It's one
of the paradoxes of prohibition that it often doesn't make the
actions less likely. In fact it can promote them, whereas eliminating
obstacles can bring down the abortion rate.
In any event, the obvious point that you've missed is that you've
already lost, as you will not be able to control or "recriminalize"
these procedures in the US or elsewhere.
Abortion Statistics - U.S.
Approximately 1,370,000 abortions occur annually in the U.S. according to the
Alan Guttmacher Institute.
No *****, fool. But that's not even a drop in the bucket
compared to the rest of the world. China alone has well over 10 million
every year.
Check this out, fool. It shows that there have been an estimated 935
MILLION abortions, primarily within the last 25-40 year range.
http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/wrjp337sd.html
That means that the world population would be easily above 7.5 billion
just in the last half century without abortions. But as far as your
moronic complaints about the abortions in the US, you're just pissing in
the wind. You need to pull your head out of your ***** and stop whining
about something like that that you quite obviously don't even come close

You're beating a tired old horse there, duke.
Uh, no, it's the natural thing to do - continue to warn the abortion queens of
the fate awaiting them.
Listen, I used to think like you, back when I did the born again thing.
It actually makes me wince to think I used to sound like that.
It's all comes to fruition at the moment you die.
But you know, you're wrong. You've been proven wrong on here time and
again. And all your shrill cries of judgement just make you look silly.
Not a chance. Thank God I don't have to stand before God when I die and explain
how I supported the butchery of the human unborn.
You can't even take Jeebus words about shaking the dust off your shoes
to heart. I know that nothing I say will make you any less convicted,
but it's a damn shame that you can't see past your own religious hatred.
I don't hate anyone, you do. Butchering the human unborn apparently means
nothing to you. But you will answer for that, not me.

What about the many more fertilized eggs that abort NATURALLY? On average,
2 such eggs die for each succesful pregnancy.
Why don't you mourn those? And if fetuses are indeed human beings as you
claim, how come you freaktards don't perform burial ceremonies for those
naturally occuring micrometer-long dead fetuses?

I keep asking the same question and have never recieved an answer.
How about an obituary for a clot of blood? Or claiming it as a dependent
on their taxes?
A fetus is a baby only when arguing with pro-choice people... otherwise
they also consider it no more than a clot of blood.
Hypocrites.

Matthew 10:29 proves you wrong. Jesus says there that not even a
sparrow falls from the sky without it being the will of the father and
therefore, by extension, not even a zygote fails to implant without it
being his will. The old testament very specifically claims that god
controls fertility and there are many examples of him taking an active
interest in producing pregnancies. Therefore, by commission or
omission, it is god's fault when pregnancies fail.
Then change your ways.
That was the message to you, fool.
Nope, I'm working to change yours.
You have already failed and are merely too stupid to understand it as
usual. Those billion abortions that have happened in the last 40 years
or so are not exactly "reversible". Abortion technology has saved us
from overpopulation and liberated women for over 100 years. It has
vastly improved the quality of life on earth and made it unnecessary for
cultures to resort to practices like post partem infanticide. And no,
abortion is not infanticide. 90% take place before the end of the first
trimester and 99 percent before the first 20 weeks. Fetuses, like
yourself, have not developed any significant higher cognitive functions
by then, nor have they developed autonomous viability, meaning that they
have not attained sufficient development to qualify as minimally human.
Saying that they are "close enough" is like saying that a monkey, such
as yourself, is close enough to be a human. You need to evolve for a
few million years before we consider you human.

It's already been demonstrated that laws are not preventing the majority
of abortions from occurring worldwide. You will never outlaw choice and
technology means that abortion is far easier in the form of pills,
injections, etc. You have failed and will continue to fail.

When you know that, maybe you'll learn something, but don't try
correcting others. You're clearly out of your element when it comes to
scriptural issues.
Unborn children were not considered alive in the Bible until they drew
the first breath, you clueless imbecile. That's what "breath of life"
means! That's what "spirit" means, moron. That's why the stories in
the Bible show absolutely zero consideration for pregnant women and
unborn children. There is nothing in the Bible that says, "Thou must
not abort". Get it now asswipe?
Right now I'm working to rid this moral disgrace from my own country.
Another lie! You're doing the cube root of diddly squat, unless you
count posting lies and hypocrisy in ngs and plagiarizing (by your own
admission) material and reposting it in ngs, and saying hateful things
in ngs about those your own myth told you to love! What a pathetic
hypcorite and coward you truly are. No surprises there. Duck *****
