'rat kerry has no plan or dream for America. What does he stand for?
He still refuses to authorize the military to release his military records to the American
public. He handed on a platter what other soldiers were tortured for in North Vietnam
prisons but refused to give up. He pulled the superman trick in Vietnam by earning 2
medals and 3 purple hearts during 4.5 months in country. His fellow soldiers that dislike
him greatly. He changes his mind every time he changes the subject. He blames President
Bush for the flu shot shortage. He has a horrible record of attendance in the senate. He
voted for money to help protect our soldiers before he voted against it.
What does he have to offer? Maybe it's his pretty hairdo.

Nobel economists back John Kerry
Democratic presidential nominee wins endorsement of 10 Nobel Prize-winning
economists.
August 25, 2004
PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - John Kerry won the endorsement of 10 Nobel
Prize-winning economists on Wednesday as he attacked President Bush for
policies that he said have led to the creation of only low-paying jobs.
The Democratic presidential nominee released a letter from the economists
saying the Bush administration had "embarked on a reckless and extreme
course that endangers the long-term economic health of our nation.''
They cited "poorly designed'' tax cuts that, instead of creating jobs, have
turned budget surpluses into enormous budget deficits. A "fiscal
irresponsibility threatens the long-term economic security and prosperity of
our nation,'' they concluded.
The endorsement, in the form of an open letter to American voters, was
signed by George Akerlof and Daniel McFadden of the University of California
at Berkeley, Kenneth Arrow and William Sharpe of Stanford University, Daniel
Kahneman of Princeton University, Lawrence Klein of the University of
Pennsylvania, Douglass North of Washington University, Paul Samuelson and
Robert Solow of MIT and Joseph Stiglitz of Columbia University.
Kerry, in remarks prepared for an appearance in Philadelphia, called for
"jobs that don't just let you survive but let you get ahead. Jobs that let
you pay your bills, send your kids to college, buy a house, save a little
for retirement and go out to dinner or a movie every once in a while.''
Now, he said, good jobs are being replaced "with ones that just don't pay
the bills,'' citing 1.8 million private-sector jobs that have been lost and
replaced by ones that pay $9,000 less and are more likely to be temporary
and less likely to offer health insurance.

48 Nobel Prize winners slam Bush, back Kerry
Tue Jun 22, 9:40 AM ET Add Top Stories - Chicago Tribune to My Yahoo!
By Jill Zuckman Tribune national correspondent
Forty-eight Nobel laureates denounced President Bush (news - web sites)
on Monday for "compromising our future" when it comes to scientific
research and the environment, and said Sen. John Kerry (news - web sites)
"will restore science to its
appropriate place in government and bring it back into the White House."
The star-studded scientific endorsement for Kerry came on a day when the
presumptive Democratic nominee stood in Civic Center Park and told several
hundred rain-soaked voters that the way to build the economy is to invest
in science, technology and
higher education.
"We need a president who will once again embrace our tradition of
looking toward the future and new discoveries with hope based on scientific
facts, not fear," said Kerry, vowing not to let "ideology and fear stand in
the way."
Many scientists have complained that the Bush administration has filled
science advisory panels with conservative ideologues rather than
individuals with sterling scientific credentials.
In an open letter to the American public, Nobel Prize winners including
Caltech President David Baltimore and cancer researcher Harold Varmus said
"the Bush administration has ignored unbiased scientific advice in the
policy-making that is so
important to our collective welfare."
Burton Richter, who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1976 and helped
organize the letter of support for Kerry, said laureates don't usually take
such a public stand on non-scientific matters. "It's unusual, and I hope
you take this as a sign of how
seriously all of us think the errors of our present course are," said
Richter.
Among the others signing the letter were physicists James Cronin of the
University of Chicago and Leon Lederman, former director of Fermilab.
Kerry's focus on science, and his push for stem cell research, comes
shortly after the death of former President Ronald Reagan (news - web
sites), who had Alzheimer's disease (news - web sites). Stem cell research
is seen by some as a way of spurring
discoveries that could cure Alzheimer's and other diseases.
And Kerry praised Nancy Reagan, noting that "her pleas for stem cell
research joined the pleas of millions across this country and reinforces in
all of us the need to tear down every wall today that keeps us from finding
the cures of tomorrow."
As it has for weeks, the Bush campaign accused Kerry of waging the
politics of pessimism.
"Only John Kerry would declare the country to be in scientific decline
on a day when the country's first privately funded space trip is
successfully completed," said Bush campaign spokesman Steve Schmidt.
"America is the world leader in patents,
research and development and Nobel Prizes, and the president's budget
raises federal research and development funding to $132 billion for 2005, a
44 percent increase since taking office."

50 Former U.S. Diplomats, Retired Military Say Bush Should Not Be
Trusted; Bush Has Made America More Vulnerable To Terrorists
9/28/2004 4:15:00 PM
To: National Desk, Political Correspondent
Contact: (Read only)
WASHINGTON, Sept 28 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Today 50 former high- level
diplomats, generals and admirals declared President Bush has made America
less safe and called for his ouster.
Members of the group are available for interview, including in Miami,
where several are giving public presentations this week in the run up to
the Presidential Debate on Thursday. Several are fluent in Spanish.
The group released a public statement that says President Bush has
squandered American lives and should not be trusted.
"The claim that we are safer is the biggest lie of this campaign
season," states the group. "Now we are bogged down there in a quagmire with
no solution in sight."
Additional excerpts:
"The plain fact is that George W. Bush and his team have succeeded in
making our country and our people less safe, and more vulnerable to new
terrorist attacks, by an unnecessary war against a threat that did not
exist."
"We have lost the hard-won respect and admiration that America enjoyed
.... Some of these losses are irrecoverable and others will take decades to
repair, a process we must begin immediately by electing a new
administration."
The group also accuses the President of gross negligence, stating,
"Prior to 9/11 Mr. Bush and his team ignored repeated warnings about the
danger of terrorist attacks."
"The American people must surely not reelect someone presenting himself
as a strong and resolute war leader who is responsible for such a sorry
record of judgment and performance."
"Leadership in the wrong directions is not the leadership we need or
want. We can have no trust in such leadership for the next four years. It
is definitely time for a change."
The retired officials who signed the statement include five general and
admirals. These include Retired Adm. William J. Crowe Jr., chairman of the
Joint Chiefs of Staff under President Reagan and Retired Air Force Gen.
Merrill A. (Tony) McPeak.
McPeak, former Air Force chief of staff under George H.W. Bush, was
Oregon chairman for the 1996 Dole/Kemp campaign and in 2000 was a backer of
George W. Bush.

OK - I picked National Security.
1. Launch And Lead A New Era Of Alliances
The threat of terrorism demands alliances on a global scale - to utilize every available
resource to get the terrorists before they can strike at us. As president, John Kerry will
lead a coalition of the able - because no force on earth is more able than the United
States and its allies.
Nice words - why will he be successful with the froggies, the huns and the Ruskies when
they already said forget it. It's a simple matter of cash.
2. Modernize The World's Most Powerful Military To Meet New Threats
John Kerry and John Edwards have a plan to transform the world's most powerful military to
better address the modern threats of terrorism and proliferation, while ensuring that we
have enough properly trained and equipped troops to meet our enduring strategic and
regional missions.
We are already worlds ahead of the rest of the world in military might and machines..
3. Deploy All That Is In America's Arsenal
The war on terror cannot be won by military might alone. As president, John Kerry will
deploy all the forces in America's arsenal - our diplomacy, our intelligence system, our
economic power, and the appeal of our values and ideas - to make America more secure and
prevent a new generation of terrorists from emerging.
President Bush is already doing that.
4. Free America From Its Dangerous Dependence On Mideast Oil
America is not dependent on Mideast oil. It's our friends that we must dump on, the ones
that we look to make our partners, that will be adversely affected. What we need is more
off shore and Alaska drilling. Yet these very states are the ones that say no, like
Massachutes, the entire west coast, and the entire NE coast and Florida.

No, he'll actually listen to what our allies have to say.
"The "huns"? LOL! The Germans have been great allies since the
fifties. Had you bothered to serve your nation, you might have spent
time there. Aber, da Sie ein Feigling sind, kann ich Sie sicher
anrufen einen kompletten Idioten.
Our current service rifle is a design first adopted in 1962. Our main
battle tank ius too heavy for 70% of the world's bridges, and we don't
have a workable medium mechanized option.
Our frontline fighters are designs from the 1970s.
And the man power issue is a biggie. We need a highly trained force
that can meet the objectives. We don't have that right now.
3. Deploy All That Is In America's Arsenal

The US imports 58% of it's oil. 40% of this comes from the OPEC
states. That means a quarter of our oil comes from OPEC.. and that
means the Middle East.
Care to think about what losing one quarter of our annual oil imports
would mean? Want to pay $10'gallon for gas?
The Alaska oil reserves are tiny. Even the most optomistic analysis
shows the reserves tapped out by 2031, and only producing a total of
22 billion barrels of crude.
We say no to offshore drilling because it's wasteful, dirty, and
brings up a tiny amount of oil for the expense. The Gulf fields are
far richer.
What we need is research into alternative technologiers and fuels.
I see no plan - I see *****.

No, that's 'rat willie's post-911 economy doing that. He left President Bush a recession.
He left the economy with a surplus which shuts down production lines and causes workers
to be laid off. President Bush has the economy moving up in an amazing fashion despite
all the setbacks he's had to fight.
Kerry has stated his plan to cut these damaging tax cuts,
Wow, even the real jfk, ie, President John F. Kennedy pushed a tax cut.
And worst yet for you 'rats, President Kennedy said "ask not what your country can do for
you, ask instead what you can do for your country."
Let's face it, President Kennedy was a Republican. Since then, 'rats LBJohnson, JCarter,
and 'rat willie have tanked as presidents.
Bush has
told us he will demand such massive debt creating tax cuts be made
permanent, depite experts telling us that would result in massive debts
as far as the eye can see.
Tax cuts free up money for consumer spending. Why is that one over your head?
We have ten Nobel Prize winning economists telling us Bush is
dangerous to America's futuire and coming out for Kerry because he has
a basically sound platform.
And the rest of the econ world telling us that 'rat willie left President Bush a
recession, and a surplus to boot. It's takes a great President like George Bush to
overcome those two on top of 'rat willlie's post-911 mess..
Bush is lying. His "Plan" his administration tells us, will cut the

No. Experts agree.

Which is???? Nobody knows!!!!!!!

The 911 commission clearly said he didn't lie. And that commission even contained a 'rat
individual that could make his look bad.
We have no idea what a lying, stuoid moron like Bush might

What you don't know is what 'rat kerry will do in the future. He changes his mind every

Does that mean that 'rat botox will cut and run? We already know he handed the NV a
political gift that other real men were tortured in NV prisons so as not to divulge.
Kerry has the respect of the scientific community which Bush does not.
No kidding? Why?
Only Kerry can repair the damaged Bush has done to the prestige of the
United States and its relationships with the world at large.
You mean with the froggies, the huns, and the Ruskies. Or would that be with the Ununited
Nations and their oil for fraud bs while 'rat willie was in office?
Bush is a uniter all right, he has united the world in hate of the US.
He wil get this country growing again, Bush after 4 years has proven a
abject failure at that.
We were attacked. 'rat kerry would ask permission of the world to let us defend
ourselves. And he has already stated that, with him as president, he wouldn't act until
we were attacked. Can you imagine such a horrible man for President. Maybe they can
target the Sear's tower in Chicago, or the Statue of Liberty. After they strike, we can
strike back.
Only Kerry can possibly dig us out of the abyss Bush has

I give up - how?
Isreal vs Paletine festers leaderless, while Bush bumbles

Well, Israel could just take them out with no problem. They are a key ally in the war on
terrorism with their strategic location.
North Korea tweaks our noses and Bush is too stupid
