A couple of things on the election |
Watching the election in the US, a couple of things occurred to me...
One, most of america really are rednecks...
And
Two, terrorists keep wanting to attack all the wrong places... mostly
major cities, like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago etc. that are all
democratic. What they REALLY need to do is blow up some Walmarts in
the bible belt.
I find it fascinating that the people in the big cities and especially
on the east coast, who have come face to face with terrorism, are
holding their heads high and keep voting democratic, instead of
surrendering to the atmosphere of fear Bush has been trying to create.
The only ones giving into his rhetoric are these yahoo cowboys who
live out in the country and have never seen an arab! And these are the
people who are going to decide the future of security for everyone...
hardly seems fair, to me.
Anyway, in a way I'm glad Bush was elected, because at least then we
don't have to put up with IMPEACH KERRY THE TRAITOR spam for the next
four years. And we get to poke fun at the monkey in chief, and people
who elected him!

Good grief you idiot, we lose more people on the highway each year than we
did in 9/11. Yeah 9/11 was bad, but a sense of proportion would be in order.

Wow.
9-11 was the video game that geo-strategists were playing. Oh a flash
here, a boom there. They're just pixels on a screen, bits and bytes,
ones and zeros. Just distant policy imperatives. But in this video
game one of the targets reached out of the screen and grabbed the
player by the throat.
And who trained the terrorists? Oh dear that was just a distant policy
imperative of the repugnantican 80s. Remember also that Bush, Cheney
and co are training tomorrow's terrorists today. They are hobnobbing
with some very seedy characters in the central Asian stans. And
you think the general in Pakistan is a born again democrat. Not likely
but his coterie are supported today. Expect the hand that feeds vipers
today to be bitten tomorrow. Todays terrorists will be fought using
tomorrow's crop of terrorists.
