A Date with Heaven |
I had an atheist girlfriend one time, and when I asked her if she would like
to go to heaven, all she could say was, "Just imagine that there is some
nice little place to go after you die, so you will feel O.K."
Well that is a problem with atheists' thinking, because heaven is not a
place where you go when you die.
Although there does happen to be a holding area, a blissful holding area,
for those that die. It is called Paradise.
Heaven, rather, is much better than that, and is in fact something that we
must build here on Terra Firma.
Even Christians don't understand that, because they think they will be
raptured into the heavenlies.
The Christians totally ignore the fact that the sacred scrolls speak of a
thing called resurrection.
Why resurrect everyone, if heaven is not meant to be on Earth?
So my atheist girlfriend had a point. Heaven is not a wispy spirit of a
place.
Heaven, rather, is the real world.
I told her that I wished that she believed in God.
And then she told me that she would be with me a very long time, but
would finally have to leave me.
That is exactly what happened.

You do understand that she was mocking you and your smug claims about
your religion. Remember that you have absolutely no evidence to support
any of these religious claims.
Well that is a problem with atheists' thinking, because heaven is not a
place where you go when you die.
No, it's not a place at all as far as anyone can tell.
Although there does happen to be a holding area, a blissful holding area,

What an interesting new bit of theology. I'm sure it'll be all the rage
soon.
Heaven, rather, is much better than that, and is in fact something that we
must build here on Terra Firma.
Really?
Even Christians don't understand that, because they think they will be
raptured into the heavenlies.
And you adhere to what religion?
The Christians totally ignore the fact that the sacred scrolls speak of a
thing called resurrection.
Another thing that is completely unsupported by any evidence.
Why resurrect everyone, if heaven is not meant to be on Earth?
I have no idea. The whole story is an invention that has not a shred of
evidence to support it.
So my atheist girlfriend had a point. Heaven is not a wispy spirit of a
place.
Yes, you misunderstood her completely.
Heaven, rather, is the real world.
Then why is Satan running the United States?
I told her that I wished that she believed in God.
I'm sure you did.
And then she told me that she would be with me a very long time, but
would finally have to leave me.
She was wise.
That is exactly what happened.
And you have no idea why. I think she was very nice not to laugh at you
right there.

She wasn't mocking me at all. Even though an atheist, she loved me with all
of her heart.
Well that is a problem with atheists' thinking, because heaven is not a

No, it's not a place at all as far as anyone can tell.
It will be, soon enough.

Truly. And you atheists knew it all along, right?
Even Christians don't understand that, because they think they will be
raptured into the heavenlies.
And you adhere to what religion?
No religion. Though I adhere to Jesus, I do not adhere much to the
teachings of the other Christians, because they are so wrong in so many
ways.
The Christians totally ignore the fact that the sacred scrolls speak of a
thing called resurrection.

Go to some wild party, and look for the formerly dead.
They may look a little different, but if you get to know them, you will
see that it is indeed them.
With parties like we have these days, it should be easy to identify them.
Why resurrect everyone, if heaven is not meant to be on Earth?
I have no idea. The whole story is an invention that has not a shred of

Look for it, and you will find it.

Heaven, rather, is the real world.
Then why is Satan running the United States?
Because God told him to. He has to make sure that iniquity properly tests
each human being, so it can be seen who prefers iniquity, and who prefers
what is right.

She probably thought she was talking to a Christian.
Christians say that heaven is a place you go to when you die.
If you have some different, personal defintion, why would you expect anyone
else to know it?

Because we all know the truth deep within. It just has to be brought to the
surface.
For example, you know heaven exists, somehow, someway, or you would not come
so close as to adventure to think about it.

I am gracious enough to grant that people have the subjective experiences
they claim they do, and that they know their won subjective state better
than me.
You are apparently unwilling to grant the same liscense.
So ***** you.
