A disappearance which needs to be investigated by an independent commission

An independent commission is needed to investigate an alleged disappearance.

There are widespread rumors that 1st Lt. George W. Bush, P03244754, whilst a member of the
Air National Guard, somehow made himself disappear from his official place of duty between
May 1972 and July 30, 1973.

The disappearance is believed to have occurred at one, or both, of the following Air Force Bases :

Hq 147 Ftr. Gp, Ellington AFB, Houston, Texas.

[b]
187 Tac Recon Gp, Dannelly ANG Base, Alabama.

The military sometimes refer to such disappearances as "AWOL" or "Desertion".
