sent out a fundraising e-mail from a government address asking for
donations to Republicans because he wants "Christians" in government.

The Air Force is investigating whether a two-star general violated military
regulations by urging fellow Air Force Academy graduates to make campaign
contributions to a Republican candidate for Congress in Colorado, Pentagon
officials said yesterday.
Maj. Gen. Jack J. Catton Jr., who is on active duty at Langley Air Force
Base, sent the fundraising appeal on Thursday from his official e-mail
account to more than 200 fellow members of the academy's class of 1976,
many of whom are also on active duty.
"We are certainly in need of Christian men with integrity and military
experience in Congress," Catton wrote.

The "Christian" part was secondary. The General should
never have been using an official military Email account
(or official letterhead) for political fundraising in the
first place.
I once worked at a government lab, and they had
very loose policies about personal use of
email - as long as we avoided the three
"p"s: pornography, profit, and politics. And
of the three, they seemed to care about
politics the most.

Since when does being christian automatically mean that a person has
integrity? If a person is willing to even run for congress, that cuts
the odds that they will have integrity by at least half.

The general is obvisously one of those Bible-thumping Jesus jumpers that
believes in verses such as Genesis17:7-8 and others. This means he is a
pork-eating zionist and therefore his loyality lies else where. Yep he
might be a follower of the likes of Hagee. Just look at what a mess the
first born-again Christian has made so far.

The General's demonstrated as is Christianly common he has no integrity.
He's also an oath breaker and a hypocrite.
