GOP Committee Member Accused Of Sex Assault
17-Year-Old Boy Accuses Pa. Committee Member Of Sex Assault
STROUDSBURG, Pa. --
A Republican state committee member from Monroe County has been
accused of providing a 17-year-old boy with alcohol at a motel room
party and sexually assaulting him.
The lawyer for 20-year-old John Curtin said his client is innocent and
denies doing anything sexual.
A police complaint said Curtin invited several boys between 13 and 17
to a motel room Monday and gave them alcoholic beverages.
A 17-year-old accused Curtin of grabbing his genitals and attempting
to perform a sex act on him but said he struggled and escaped.
Curtin said he is an East Stroudsburg University student and works
part time at a psychiatry office.
He was elected last year as one of Monroe County's three
representatives on the GOP state committee.

Now why wouldn't Christians be interested in this story? The
protaganist is one of them - Republican, undoubtly Christian, and up
until he was caught the pillar of the community. An interesting side
note - the criminal Republican himself is only 20. Where did he get
the alcohol? I think this involves more Christians of doubtful
morality.
