A FIFTH COLUMN
By New10
I can understand the Chinese unwillingness to let foreign religions
into their country. All
they have to do is look at the divisiveness of competing religions in
America and elsewhere.
Foreign religions would be like a. fifth column which would destroy
their culture. Chinese
pantheism is much more noble, rational and sane than any of the
pathological patriarchal
orthodox religions (cults), so why should the Chinese allow an
inferior religion like Christianity
into China? Christianity would destroy a heritage which predates
Christianity with a moral
teaching that Christians have yet to attain. China's political
philosophy against descent isn't any
different than what Christianity has done to dissenters over the past
16 centuries.
Isn't President Clinton engaging in religious bigotry and prejudice?
Isn't it apparent that
he is saying to the Chinese people that their religion is inferior to
his religion, so they should let
in Christianity? Throughout history, Christianity has never respected
the religion of others.
What would happen if Catholicism got a foothold in China? What if
Chinese people were
indoctrinated to believe that condoms and abortion were sins? In a
thousand years or less, the
church would own the wealth of the country and have six billion
Catholics paying homage. They
could have a new, modem day crusade against infidels, the Eastern
church, Jews and Moslems.
