Object: A fork in the road
Dear Christian friends, we all will come to a fork in the road. Will we
take the road to atheism, which leads to pain, despair, misery, and
bestiality? Or will we take the path to the One lamb virgin rabble
rouser of the vast oceans, Jesus Christ? You must think real hard about
which way you want to go. The wrong road leads to hell. And I will be
deriving power from your anguished yelps, and laughing as you eternally
rot.

Bearing false witness is the surest road to hell. By posting false messages

say. This anguished yelp is a crock of provocateur *****.

And lets not forget to mention that binary thinking that's in such vogue
these days thanks to posterior orifices like Karl Rove. If one is not a
Christian of the brand illustrated above, then one obviously engages in
animal "husbandry". Uh huh. Sure. That sounds so much like, "If you
are opposed to the war in Iraq, then you're a friend of Bin Laden.
There can be no in-between with these noodleheads. I really had a laugh
over that series, "pain, despair, misery, and bestiality". Now there's
a group of words you don't often see in series. Kinda reminds me of
"5, 7, 11, 13, sheep". The Religionistas must be including that on the
new ACT as a substitute for that question on evolution. I suspect that
he finds the word so titillating, it just had to go in there.
Nice to see you haven't gone tharn or anything; how are things down in

Political titillation is their meat and pota-toes. Since Rush started

right politics seemed like such fun at first, until the butcher bill came
due.

This is a message for the lost, not friends, Christian or otherwise. While I
share your belief that we will be compelled to witness the torment of the lost,
I do not believe that any of us will take pleasure in so doing. We will all see
someone there we knew and liked and longed to see them follow the same path we
took, and they would not. That will be a sad day, and a sober experience.
Abraham was not contemptuous or disdainful of the rich man in torment (Luke 16),
and we will not be, either.

No. It doesn't matter which one you ask, if you ask him what the other
guy would say is the right way.
You'll always get told the wrong way because
- the truth-teller will correctly say that the liar gives the wrong
one as being right
- the liar will lie and tell you that the truth teller would give the
wrong one as right.
Either way take the opposite of what the answer is.

So there are two men at the fork, one who is known to always lie and
one who is known to always tell the truth. You are allowed one and
question only. What is the question and who do you ask to be sure to
find the correct way?

"What will the other bloke say is the right way?"

Then take the opposite.

If the one you ask isn't the Christian^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hliar then
he'll tell the truth about what the other guy says, which would be the
wrong way.

If the one you ask is the Christian^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hliar he'll lie
about what the other one says and tell you the wrong way.

Natch.

That's the answer, in general since there's one liar, incorporating
him in the answer inverts the truth.
Now you have three boxes, one labeled "apples", one "oranges" and one
"apples+oranges". You are told that all boxes are labeled incorrectly.
By inserting a pin into one box to get the smell of one fruit, you
have enough info to re label all boxes correctly, therefore saving
relations with a very picayune customer but he pays cash for undamaged
boxes. And he tips well, so that he can withhold the tip if the labels
are wrong. (Yep, a ***** that pays well. Who said it would be fair?)

of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple
matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist
dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no
voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.
That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked,
and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the
country to greater danger."

Someone who laughs at others rotting in hell seems to have missed an
important message in the bible. I think you will rot in hell as well
with such an attitude. It is not exactly loving the others.

You sure? This god fellow's pretty fucking sadistic. I'm positive I ran
across a verse once that told his followers not only to slaughter, but
to rejoice as they do it. What's more, Jesus says that anybody who
fails to believe (and being "God", he ought to have known how
ridiculous his story sounds) deserves to be tortured for eternity.
Nope, I think the Loki troll understands the message of the Bible quite
well.

I heard that is basically what Jesus did between his crucifiction and
his resurrection.
A fundie girl said he went to hell to explain to those there why they
were there...this is also how she explained that her god indeed is
fair.
