A frame grab taken from website video footage May 11, 2004, shows a man, who
identified himself as Nick Berg of Philadelphia, kicked to the floor by one
of his five masked captors moments before he was beheaded. Al Qaeda's leader
in Iraq vowed more killings in revenge for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners, an
Islamist Web site said on Tuesday. After one of the masked men read out a
statement, they pushed Berg to the floor and shouted "Allahu Akbar! -- Allah
is greatest" above his screams as one of them sawed his head off with a
large knife then held it aloft for the camera.
Additional photos can be viewed here. Set alongside the photos is an event
depicted in Islam's scriptures, showing Muhammad was indeed the "best
beheader." We warn you, these pictures are repulsive; but not as repulsive
as the Islamic scriptures which accompany them.

American lives are FAR more valuable, right? Can you give me an American

Let's see. Yanks have murdered 100,000 civilians (and that's just in the
last 3 years), which is the equivalent of about one 9/11 every day FOR A
MONTH....

police actions hasn't changed, so the ratio probably hasn't either.

We are winning nothing, with every death we lose a little more and we
lose more respect and make ourselves more of a target for the world. We
lost in Vietnam and we Lost in Iraq and Afghanistan and still no Bin
Laden who was the main guy we were suppossed to get, bush is a liar and
a loser and was so before he stole 2 elections and has brought shame to
our country.

I'm not talking about foreign policy per se, I'm talking about cleaning out
your own house - so to speak.
The reputation of the US is not going to improve unless decent American folk
get out there and become far more politically active and vocal.
Whining on newsgroups - no disrespect - cannot rescue the US. You guys have
a big job ahead of you. And if you don't get out there, and re-claim your
media, and your constitution, and the reputation that you used to deserve,
then it's game over. And that's no exaggeration...
