Pardon the 2nd post, but in all fairness I did find "Finding Darwin's
God" with the keyword "Darwin." But the list was still >90%
anti-evolution. And I shouldn't entirely rule out intra-creationism
debates until I see the entire list. All I can say is that they are
not prominent. Does anyone even know of one? There's the old Gish-Ross
debate on the web, but I know of no popular books of the sort.

They also sell Asimov's Guide to the Bible.

No, a set of 38 books containing the primary source material for early
Christian history. Anyone who is interested in church history or
theology might well read them, which amounts to quite a few people.
This is the standard edition of the church fathers -- why do you find
it surprising that a Christian book distributor would be selling it?

Actually, a really effective way to become an atheist is to read a
complete (and truthful) history of Christianity.
That was related in one atheist's testimony. He had been raised
Baptist, but in college he started dating a Catholic girl. He really
liked her and felt terribly sorry that she was going to go to Hell for
not being a "true Christian". Then one day she started crying and, at
his urging, she finally blurted out that she really liked him and felt
terribly sorry that he was going to go to Hell for not being Catholic.
Wake-up call! So he went to the college library and checked out and
read the most complete history of Christianity they had. By the end
of the book, he was convinced that if God did actually exist, He sure
as Hell wasn't a Christian.

[...]
Ingersoll agreed:
"All that is necessary, as it seems to me, to convince any
reasonable person that the Bible is simply and purely of human
invention -- of barbarian invention -- is to read it. Read it as you
would any other book; think of it as you would of any other, get the
bandage of reverence from your eyes; drive from your heart the
phantom of fear; push from the throne of your brain the cowled form
of superstition -- then read the Holy bible, and you will be amazed
that you ever, for one moment, supposed a being of infinite wisdom,
goodness and purity to be the author of such ignorance and such
atrocity."

Apparently you missed the part about the $900 savings. You could just turn
right around and double or triple your money on eBay. I can't believe
there's no limit on how many you can buy. You try to find "The Ragamuffin
Gospel, Revised" (apparently God screwed up the original) for just $5
anywhere else. Can't be done.
