a loving god? |
=BFIs there a loving God?
I am not in accord with the fundies about "God is love" or the
"Jesus Loves ya".
To start with, God created everything, them He is responsible of all
the Evil of this world.
So God, just in case, is not a trinity, but a duality. That is
Goodness and Evil, or Evil and Goodness.
A moron fundy came out and said: "God made men and angels good, but
they become Evil, or they did Evil deeds."
This is pure nonsense. There are also some other Evils in the Earth,
like volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts,
floods, etc.
Then, all the creation of God, either living beings like men, angels,
devils or physical phenomena, are the responsibility of God. If there
occurs any Evil or wrong from agents or phenomena created by God, then
this evil comes from God. So God is Evil.
There is only a case when God is not responsible. Just imagine a God
that is not omniscient. If God is not omniscient, he can plead "not
guilty" before me. And I would accept he was no responsible by cause
of ignorance about the consequences of his deeds. But ignorance alone
is not enough. If God is omnipotent, he is still responsible because
he had to mend the Evil consequences of his deeds. So if he did not
mend the consequences of his deeds he is Evil.
Only in the case that God is "impotent" to mend the Evil
consequences of his deeds, you can say that "God is not guilty".
And what sense is in saying that "God is ignorant and Impotent?
Nobody had any need of a god like this.
Let's put now the example "the abomination by Jehovah of the
faggots"
If the faggots have a genetic tendency to copulate with other males,
what was God thinking when he made the men? God is responsible of his
error. So if some fundies come to us saying "kill those faggots!"
I have to think they a re a bunch of sadists and criminals.
Suppose that ***** males are not genetic. Just imagine that "they
have learn how good and pleasant is to copulate with other males".
Well, what was God thinking of when he made the blueprints for a male?
Was he distracted? Was God thinking about other problems when he was
creating the men?
If God really abominates of the faggots, why he made them in such a
wrong way that some of them could discover that copulating with other
males is something pleasant?
So, why the fundies are so sassy as to throw all the blame on the
faggots for their special sexual love?
We are bound to think that they are a bunch of sadist, a bunch of
Bolsheviks, a bunch of Christo-Nazies. =20
That is what they are.

żIs there a loving God?
I've never seen any evidence of ANY god, much less a loving one.

żIs there a loving God?
Of course there is! It's just that he demonstrates his love in a really,
really strange way.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Epicurus asked that question a
couple centuries before Jesus is alleged to have lived.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not
omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Did Italians play soccer a couple centuries before the Jesus myth
was hatched?

Sorry, Goren. I was a little pissed when you said you had bursted my
bubble.
I was proud to have come out with this piece of thinking and did not
like you were bursting my modest proudnes because Epicurus thought also
about that. Any body with a sound brain can found the same conclusion
by his own devices.

No offence taken. I've often re-invented the wheel, myself;
sometimes intentionally, sometimes not. When untentional and
somebody else has pointed out the duplication of my efforts, I
generally take it as a clue to read up on the competition.
And, in a case like this one, I think you'll find lots of very
well made wheels ready to put on your /next/ invention.
