A modern day martyr for the faith |
Maybe you remember that a good half year ago a rather famous movie
director (rather famous in Holland, that is) was butchered by a
mohammedan fundy. After committing his murder he ran away being chased
by the police.
A gunfight ensued, in which he shot to kill police officers and
innocent bystanders. He didn't kill anyone, but did hit one or more
police officer. That they weren't killed was to the fact they wore
bullet proof vests. Police took him out by shooting him in the leg.
After that he was hospitalized in a police mental institution and
examined. Mohammed B refused to cooperate in any way. So, there is no
examination of his mental capacity and thus he is declared fully
responsible for his actions.
He's on trial right now. Doing his very best to be as offensive as
possible. He refused to defend himself or let a lawyer do it for him.
He asked for the death penalty, but that's not possible. We don't have
the death penalty in Holland anymore for many decades. (Of course he
knew that. He may be fundy, but he sure ain' stoopid.) He made his
statement: "if I can do it again, I will".
The judge will pronounce sentence on 26 July. It is widely expected
this chap gets life. Which in Holland is officially 25 years, but
commonly you have to do only 12 of them. Just before he committed his
murder much tougher laws regarding terrorism were passed by
parliament, so I wouldn't be surprised if the judge will give him the
full Monthy: 25 years without probation. Possibly by having him
examined later on and decided as a great danger for society. (Can be
done under Dutch law.)
What we see here is very much how xtian fundies got themselves thrown
for the lions. Exactly the same type of behavior. Rejecting anything
but death. After all, this bloke is expecting to receive 72 virgins to
have his way with in paradise. (I truly wonder if those 72 virgins
deserve a punishment like that...)

Political correctness is a form of moral and emotional blackmail
whereby if you call a spade a spade you must
a) apologize to the spade,
b) if you live in the US, take a sensitivity training course, or
c) if you live in Old Yurp, you are taken to court for defamation of the
aforementioned spade.

I think we understand here, that one need have no worries
about the virgins, as there won't be any. I say, by all
means give the man his wish. Jeffrey Dahmer got life because
his state of residence didn't have a death penalty statute,
or something like that. The nice prison officials fixed that
right up. Sent Dahmer off to clean toilets with a guy who
thought Jesus told him to kill, and a mop whose handle had
broken and been replaced with a length of 1" steel pipe.
Surely such things can be arranged, even in Holland?
