A new post |
Im referring to the belief that we dance around a sacrificial Lamb, and that
the whole book stinks of death. These are all things that can be distorted.
Matthew 12
Lord of the Sabbath
1At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His
disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them.
2When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, "Look! Your disciples are
doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath."
3He answered, "Haven't you read what David did when he and his
companions were hungry? 4He entered the house of God, and he and his
companions ate the consecrated bread-which was not lawful for them to do,
but only for the priests. 5Or haven't you read in the Law that on the
Sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent? 6I
tell you that one[a] greater than the temple is here. 7If you had known what
these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,'[b] you would not have
condemned the innocent. 8For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
9Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, 10and a man
with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, they
asked him, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?"
11He said to them, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on
the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? 12How much more
valuable is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the
Sabbath."
13Then he said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." So he stretched it
out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. 14But the
Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.

Indeed. I'm especially fascinated how, in order to symbolically
proclaim the end of pain and suffering for innocents, God has a
supposedly-innocent man tortured and executed. There's poetic
irony in there that only a sado-masochist could truly appreciate.
Of course, there's also the bit where God needs to use Armageddon
in order to bring peace on Earth.

I am bloody bored with my life.
Actually, no, this rather fascinates me. This is what life is. Discussion.
I know hes real, because hes proven himself to me. Therefore I believe him.
Im working within a time frame here. The first pic I actually had a samll
time frame of about an hour and a half, to actually go and find a cloud that
might be perceived as a sign from God. To me that is. However, I know that
its him, because he speaks to me all the time. Was I nervous? No, he told
me it would be there, because I trusted him, again. Also, becaue it
fascinates me.
1) Check into an institution.
Yes, the atheism answer to all of lifes problems. Seek the help of doctors
who I dont agree with either. And the fact that you call it a holiday,
implies that you might get some kind of satisfaction out of having me locked
up, just so it pleases you. That sounds pretty maso-chistic, if you ask me.
2) Take my medication and troll in other newgroups.
Here again, I am commanded by somebody that doesnt agree with me, to take
medication that I know I dont need. Is that suffering from God? No, its
suffering from you. Do you find that funny? Is that your answer to lifes
problems is that everytime somebody says something that you dont agree with,
you tell them to go on medication? Thats quite a philosophy. You guys have
me oh so convinced that I want to be like you.
3) Go skydiving on a cloudy day, without a parachute.
Again, If somebody doesnt agree with your point of view, you actually
want me dead. Wow, sounds like God is torturing me, doesnt it? No. I dont
wish you dead. Why would you wish me dead? So you dont have to see a post
in a newsgroup any longer? What if I really needed medication and I went
and jumped out of a plane. Would you feel bad? Or are you just another
sociopath in the world that kills people for no reason other than they
disagree with you and that mediacates those who dont really need it?
