I thought that it got across what you wanted
us to know and responded to it in your blog.
My opinion is that anyone who escapes an
intimidating religion, like you did, is very
courageous.

What exactly is a biomechanically enhanced bog? For some reason I'm
thinking of a swamp filled with blinking computer parts.

You'll need to be more subtle in advertising your own blog. Post a
condensed form as a discussion starter, or at the very least an excerpt
from the article. You'll generate a more favorable response that way.

What can I say?
It all makes sense
My own experiences were a trifle more funny.
The chaplain having trouble not to burst into laughter when I
confessed I had worshipped not God but the virgin Mary (idolatry!)
My father, not being able to keep his laughter when I warned him that
God would punish him if he didn't keep his promise (to me)
The only reason I had for believe in a God, was the idea that without
him, there would be no final justice.
When i realized however that my moral stands were mine, and not
someone else's
(i did not refrain from lying because Jesus was so good and had said
so,
I in fact regard Jesus to be good because he told us to refrain from
lying)
I became an atheist in minutes.
Come back to the Newsgroup when you have some good idea's to share
