A Poem: Why are gay men gay |
Why are gay men gay?
Why are straight men straight?
Why is the sunrise so early?
Why is the sunset so late?
Why are tall men tall?
Why are short men short?
Why do boats sail
From port to port to port?
Why do men like their own farts
And wince at everyone else's?
Why are some thermometers in Farenheit
And others are in Celcius?
Why are some men slobs
And others tidy and clean?
Why are some men nice,
And others rude, stupid, and mean?
Why ask such questions
When the answer is so plain?
People are what they are,
So don't bother me again!

It depends where you are from. Here, we say again so that it rhymes
with rain, others say it as if it rhymes with glen.

That was beautiful. It brought out the poet in me.
Mine is more concise, it goes straight to the heart of the issue:
Why are some men gay instead of straight?
That's because they're smarter and more fussy.
Straight guys like to dive for tuna on their mate.
Gays know ***** is cleaner and doesn't smell like *****.

For me, "again" DOES rhyme with "plain"
but "fussy" doesn't rhyme with "*****".
