A proof that all non-believers probably will go to hell |
http://www.rodsgarden.50megs.com/wheredie.htm
Jesus clearly teaches that after believers die, they go to be with
him. He also is clear on what happens to non-believers. He said, "And
if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to
enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be
thrown into hell, where 'their worm does not die, and the fire is not
quenched'." (Mark 9:47-48). It is clear that sinners end up in a
horrible place, but there is more than one "hell". Hell is used to
translate three different Greek words: Gehenna, Hades, and Tartaros.

And if one doesn't believe in your Jesus, god, or hell?

A proof that most believers who died are nearly certainly in hell.
1. There are at least 20,000 human religions
2. Nearly all these religions hold that unbelievers will go to hell.
3. None of these religions have ever held a majority.
4. No matter who is right, more than half of all people who have died
were of the wrong faith and nearly certainly in hell.
Your chances are no better or worse than mine, I'm sure that there
are religions that hold athiests as less of an evil than those
heretics who worship false gods and we'll get off easy in that case
and you'll be punished worse for it.
Well punk, do you feel lucky?

Christian. After all, they grovel before an imaginary malevolent
although it slaughters everything that ever lived and tortures them all
for eternity in the futile hope they avoid the same fate.

That's not in my copy of 'The Silmarillion'....
Thank goodness for THAT. However, Orodruin has a pretty good "Lake O'
Faar", certainly sorted that evil little ***** Gollum out!
Sad that Sméagol succumbed tho'...

Not really, Gollum seemed rather oblivious to it.

Yes, I know. He was too focused on the joy of regaining his "preciousss",
BUT, it was the end of him.
All that was needed was the "thumbs up sign" from a sinking arm....

The more I read posts like this from theist fuckwits, trying to "save" me
from eternal damnation, the more confident I am in my atheism. Thank you,
Lisa, for helping to reaffirm my lack of religious conviction.

be even more stupid to do that.

In a pig's eye.
The bible is not evidence of anything but the stories in the bible. And
these stories describe a wild fantasy world that bears no resemblance to
reality.
Your concept of hell grew out of the practice of throwing virgins into
volcanos. People saw for themselves that there is actually a "fire down
below". Fortunately for us, it is not the evil place of eternal punishment
you christers have asserted it is. It's just magma.
Hell is in your own imagination, and gives you a sweet revenge against
those who have wronged you, without actually doing anything to them on the
physical level. Perhaps this is a good thing - a check system if you will
- that keeps otherwise amoral morons from running amuck.
