A tale of thee churches |
It was found that all three churches in a small town were rat infested.(
No, that's not the punch line)
The first church decided it was God's will and lived with the rats.
The second church, believing that god helped those who helped themselves
trapped as many as they could and released them well outside the city
limits.
Within a few days they were back.
The pastor of the remaining church saw what was done and called his people
in and explained what would be done. "We are going to trap all the rats,
baptize them and make them members of our congregation."
This was done.
It didn't completely solve the problem but the rats are now only seen on
Easter and Christmas.

How did the rats accept repentance?
