A Theory of Quantum Theodynamics
Abstract:
After minutes of painstaking experimentation, research,
making-*****-up, numerous drunken bacchanals, and
an ungodly irony meter budget
a theory is emerging from the EAC department of
Quantum Theodynamics [1]. This paper describes the
elementary particle of theosity and its interaction with
other elementary particles. This work builds on other
work in the field of Quantum Bogodynamics.
The theon (thE' on) is the elementary particle of theosity
and is actually a type of bogon.
The bogon (elementary particle of bogosity) is
previously described [2].
Theons (theistic bogons) arise spontaneously or
from the conversion of standard bogons
in the theistic warp found in some brains.
The standard bogon's natural anti-particle is the
'reason' (rE' zon). The reason is the basic particle
of intelligence. Normally a bogon can not survive in
the presence of a reason. However, theons are
more tenacious than standard bogons.
They can survive in great number where there is
a dearth of reasons, such as in minds possessing
a theistic warp, i.e. theists. Theists are also
known to radiate theons in great number. (Early work
suggests that the proselyton and the bigoton
play a role in such radiation.)
Alone, theons are relatively harmless but when
mixed with politons they can cause immense
damage.
When reasons are present in critical mass they
catalyze the conversion of theons into ironons.
The 'ironon' (I ron' on) is the basic particle of irony.
They are normally amusing little particles but
can play havoc with irony meters as you well know.
Atheist as a rule have a critical mass of reasons
and are beset by ironon flux.
Areas for further work:
There has been some early work in the field of
Theotivity. It suggests that there is an
energy/theosity equivalence, something of the form:
E = -TC^9
Note that the energy is negative.
Also note that C is raised to the ninth power.
This would explain the great waste of energy
that religion is and its destructive power.
It might also explain why we can build ironometers
that can withstand a nuclear blast but are so
easily destroyed by the ironons from theon flux
conversion.
Conclusion:
This theory an advancement in the understanding
of theosity. We look forward to the day when we
can control the theon and the horrible destruction it
causes when reacting with the politon.

I would distinguish between virtual theons and real theons. Virtual theons arise
from the quantization of the theonic field. These are brainless spin-0 particles
that act as the carrier of the theonic force but are nevertheless weakly
susceptable to reason.
Real theons on the other hand spin endlessly and do not see reason under any
circumstances.

Would I be correct in concluding that only virtual theons
are radiated and possibly converted to ironons while
real theons never escape the theonic field?

Would I be correct in concluding that only virtual theons

The evidence for this is not wholly conclusive and depends on whether the
virtual theon really is brainless or not. Even a small amount of brain would
result in detectable conversion rates.
The real theon is of course a true fundamentalist particle.
