A VERY SIMPLE QUESTION |
There are over a thousand different God beliefs. This makes it difficult to
determine which, if any, is the real God.
If there is a real God why does he not make it clear by anouncing from his
heaven he is the REAL God and all the others are fakes? Why does he not
smite all the fakes?

Why would 'he'? Perhaps this very question is based on an assumption that
the 'real' God must be the God described variously by the three mainstream
monotheistic faiths? But what if the 'real' God isn't that particular one?

Bill, you've done better than this on this point before. Why so weak this
time?
Come on: you know as well as I do that you have trouble imagining any other
model of 'god' than the Christian one.

For your inlightenment here is the original post;
"There are over a thousand different God beliefs. This makes it difficult to
determine which, if any, is the real God.

You have totally failed throughtout your posts to offer ANY answers.

Actually my intention wasn't to provide answers - at least not until you'd
corrected the question. See, as we've discussed many times before, you
have this tendency to talk about 'thousands of god beliefs', and then base
your questions and challenges on your personal expectations of how the
Christian God should behave.

You won't get that, for Bill's advanced age only permits him to copy and

LOL what about you "casting stones" at me, without bothering to provide
any evidence for my need to "be careful"? Why not quote my repetitive
Biblical quotes as evidence and be blessed beyond measure by them, as I am?

Now, that's interesting. Who said anything about Bible quotes, Frank?
Being innocent of the accusation, how would you know what it was, if I

Btw as I mentioned above, our Christian "God is love", and only atheists

You got that right. No "god" or devil of atheist definition exists. They
make sure of that, by defining the word "god" as ludicrously as possible.

Actually, I do. But I also understand that a question can carry a
statement - as is the case here. After all, how many times have you asked
the same questions in the same way? And how many times have you ever shown
any interest in any answer that doesn't correspond with your own point of
view?
You don't believe in gods. That's fine. You're entitled to that choice.
But you also have a deep and abiding contempt - perhaps even hatred - for
those who see things differently, regardless of what religion or what god
or gods they might follow. And it's that contempt alone that your
'questions' are intended to express.

There is no dearth of existing gods and devils, just take look in
ancient History Museums. I own a couple as well, they are valuable antiques,
and they are guaranteed gods, for they have been prayed to, worshipped,
sacrifice to and some even are said to have performed miracles. In other
word they have all the credentials of gods. How is it, that you don't know
any of this? See below
Pastor Frank
Jeremiah 10:5: Their gods are upright as the palm tree, but speak not.
They must needs be borne, for they cannot go. Be not afraid of them, for
they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

I'm curious why you assume that I don't. Aside the bit about your own

But where 'your' gods are concerned my main question would be why a devout

A very simple answer:
Because there are no gods.
End of exercise.
And it is incumbent on anyone who claims that there are such things,
to provide proof.
As no-one in the entire history of the human race has got even close
to poroviding even a scrap of evidence for same, I'd say that the
chances of some pathetic delusional dweeb posting the very first
evidence in reply to this message is vanishingly slim to the point of
laughable impossibility.

have a go, giving us all either a good laugh, or leave us shaking our
heads wondering what has gone wrong with the mental health-care
system.
