aa - QOTM winners for December 2007 |
Here are the winners for the Quote of the Month contest for December 2007.
AQOTM: With 10 votes, the clear winner this month is:
12) An alcoholic who wanders into an AA meeting slobering drunk and
starts shouting at everybody else to try a drink isn't winning any
friends and isn't going to convince anybody that sobriety was a bad idea.
You are the same for religion. You wandering into a "sober" newsgroup
sloberingly religious will never going to achieve anything but show what
religion does to the brain and that it is absolute poison.

TQOTM: With 14 votes, the choice this month is:
1) Christians should try blowing a few random innocents up. Works for
Muslims. Suddenly all the good liberals would be worried that they were
not being sufficiently tolerant and inclusive towards Christians. :-)

Wow! I go on vacation for ten days and come back to find this.
I thought it was going to be passed over because of my typical keyboard
dyslexia (spelling "go" as "going").

I know what you mean. I've had so many nominations without a win I'm
beginning to feel like Susan Lucci. LOL
