11) The Roman Catholic Church has been about nothing more than the
accumulation of worthlessness for the past 2,000 years. Worthless
rituals, worthless sacraments, worthless chants, worthless stipulations,
worthless texts, worthless rules and equally worthless exceptions to
those worthless rules. Worthless ceremony with worthless color-coded
clothing and worthless pointy little hats sitting atop worthless pointy
little minds. It has to be one of the most astoundingly elaborate
pieces of absolutely nothing that I've ever seen. They could pay me to
take their religion and I'd still be due a refund. That's how worthless
it is.

TQOTM: This month, we had a direct competition between theist insanity
and theist niceness. Those were the only two items to choose from. So
our winner, "niceness" came away with very good marks, 13 to 9.

2) Regarding self-improvement:

Not only that, but we are supposed to be doing it for EXACTLY the same
reasons atheists do; because it's the right thing to do, not because we
are hoping to get extra gold in the heavenly paving...
