because I have spent the last year and a half being the care giver and
power of attorney for a close friend who is disabled and basically
terminal.

I manage his doctor appointments, I take him to the doctors, I deal with
the insurance companies, I manage his bills, I deal with the aid
organizations, I work with his primary doctor to get him on pharmaceutical
programs because his medications are outrageously expensive, I maintain
his house, I feed his dogs, I take him to the hospital, I just came from
spending the day with him in the hospital, I do his grocery shopping, I
have sometimes had to prepare his food when he's too ill to get off the
couch, I have even cleaned up his vomit and mopped up his ***** when he's
been seriously ill.


This has happened because this "Christian nation" as you people like to
say it is, doesn't give a flying ***** about the disabled, the sick, and
the dying. When he became disabled, he lost his health care benefits
because his former employer fucked him over (and I just bet they're in
church pews tomorrow). This is happening because we passed up our chance
to put in a national health care system like every other advanced nation
on the planet because, after all, what's important is making corporate
CEOs wealthy, not healing the sick. This is happening because
self-righteous pricks like yourself don't actually give a ***** about
actual human beings. You're all too busy masturbating your Jesus.


I could *never* be a Christian again. I just *cannot* bring myself to be
so evil, so inhuman, and so cold.
