They are so trapped in their own fantasy, that they believe the other
fantasies are real too.

Actually, there's a good deal of deliberate lying going on. The
author, William Schnoebelen, falsely claims here and elsewhere to have
been a former Alexandrian High Priest, while getting virtually every
detail about it wrong whenever he writes directly about the topic. He
also claims that D&D's magical system is "authentic" (ie: taken from
actual occult sources), which claim is utter rubbish; no one who was
ever affiliated with an actual Wiccan or other Magickal group, or even
perused the subject casually would draw such a ridiculous comparison.

Yup. The anti-D&D tract is out of print, but for $700 or so Chick's guys
will print up a bundle of 1,000 (IIRC) customized with your church info
on the back.
