January 17, 2005 -- A 13-year-old girl and her 15-year-old boyfriend
yesterday revealed in a grisly confession to cops the sickening events
that led to the death of their newborn boy, whose body was found in a
"Happy Birthday" gift bag outside a Bronx church. The young mom said
she gave birth in her second-floor bedroom Friday but panicked when
the baby started to cry, sources said.
She then cracked open the bedroom window and threw the infant into an
alley, where he remained for more than 10 hours in the cold.
The girl said her boyfriend, the baby's dad, later arrived at the
apartment. After she told him what she had done, he went down to the
alley, saw the child and placed him, with the umbilical cord still
attached, in the bag, the sources said.
He then brought the bag a few blocks away to the Second Prince of
Peace Baptist Church on East 183rd Street in the Tremont section, cops
said. The church was closed at the time, and he left the baby in the
bag in the doorway, they said.
The horrific death of the day-old boy was being treated as a homicide
by cops after an autopsy revealed that the child's head was fractured
and his leg broken.
A passer-by discovered the bag with the dead infant inside at around
8:20 p.m. Friday and called 911.
Cops were finally able to track down the young mother yesterday after
canvassing the neighborhood, and one of her friends gave them
information about the case, sources said.

Not necessarily. They were within 2 years of age with each other, as
well as being minors. It is doubtful that the statutory rape law would
apply.

I never spent time around babies, but I knew that babies cry after
they're born. I didn't know how a woman got pregnant, but I knew that
babies cried. They showed it all the time in movies and on TV, and we
didn't have near as much TV in 1983.
The only way I could feel sorry for this girl is if I found out she had
a hideous upbringing.

Nobody... and that's probably the problem!
Since religious people (like yourself) won't let these
things be taught in school in any comprehensive
manner, because they want to allow the parents to be
allowed to pass-on whatever lies and religous swada
they like.
She may never have learned much about sex, contreceptives,
pregnancy and infants -- something her boyfriend could
exploit... assuming *he* knew much more. In any case,
I doubt she knew enough about sex to be "liberated"
about it.
There is a *reason* why a county in Texas where all what
schools are allowed to teach, is that sex belongs in
a marrige sanctioned by God, has the highest percentage
of VD amongst teens in the country!
Teens *are going to* have sex wheter we teach them or
not, all we can do is teach them to be *responsible*

January 17, 2005 -- A 13-year-old girl and her 15-year-old boyfriend
yesterday revealed in a grisly confession to cops the sickening events
that led to the death of their newborn boy, whose body was found in a
"Happy Birthday" gift bag outside a Bronx church. The young mom said
she gave birth in her second-floor bedroom Friday but panicked when
the baby started to cry, sources said.
She then cracked open the bedroom window and threw the infant into an
alley, where he remained for more than 10 hours in the cold.
The girl said her boyfriend, the baby's dad, later arrived at the
apartment. After she told him what she had done, he went down to the
alley, saw the child and placed him, with the umbilical cord still
attached, in the bag, the sources said.
He then brought the bag a few blocks away to the Second Prince of
Peace Baptist Church on East 183rd Street in the Tremont section, cops
said. The church was closed at the time, and he left the baby in the
bag in the doorway, they said.
The horrific death of the day-old boy was being treated as a homicide
by cops after an autopsy revealed that the child's head was fractured
and his leg broken.
A passer-by discovered the bag with the dead infant inside at around
8:20 p.m. Friday and called 911.
Cops were finally able to track down the young mother yesterday after
canvassing the neighborhood, and one of her friends gave them
information about the case, sources said.
Do you think that the fundamentalist Christians who would call her a
***** and make her life miserable, and who would label the child a
*****, and make its life miserable, had anything to do with her
thought process.
what a world of joy the anti-choice folks would love to spread for us
all to share...
