Abstinence only programs are wrong |
"NEW YORK (AP) -- More than nine out of 10 Americans, men and women alike, have
had premarital sex, according to a new study. The high rates extend even to
women born in the 1940s, challenging perceptions that people were more chaste in
the past….
"The data clearly show that the majority of older teens and adults have already
had sex before marriage, which calls into question the federal government's
funding of abstinence-only-until-marriage programs for 12- to 29-year-olds,"
Finer said….."

The only adults who "abstain" are those who can not get any.
By and large, I think you're probably right. For some reason, it reminds me of
the way that people in crowds, any time the subject of masturbation comes up,
will almost always deny that they masturbate. Yet everybody does it, or
virtually everybody (there are some who literally -can't-, and perhaps 1 or 2
with no sex drive whatsoever - but those would be about it).
As for me, I'm never ashamed to admit it - I whack off, and I love it. ;-)
