So receiving an e-mail you don't want makes you a "victim"? You may find
this hard to believe, Harry, but the vast majority of cadets aren't
miserable little crybabies like you liberals. Men who may have to risk their
lives by climbing into a jet fighter, skippering a nuclear submarine, or
leading ground troops into battle, aren't cowed by an e-mail, even if
doesn't reflect their personal religious beliefs.
You really need to stop projecting your personal weaknesses and insecurities
on others. Just because you're a weak, sorry excuse for a man who would
break down in tears and feel persecuted if somebody told you something you
didn't want to hear, doesn't mean that the rest of the country is like you.
Try to learn to change your own diaper, and get over it...

It ain;t just any e-mail that is the problem. It is a religious e-mail from
a superior.
The cadets MUST read it --- it could have important or offical information
in it. Avoiding it could be fatal to your career.
Once open you are subjected to religious BS that you may find deeply
offensive, even hateful. From an anonymous source is one thing, from your
superior is another. Remebder, the career you are just starting on depends
entirely on the goodwill of your superiors. How much abuse are you going to
have to take to get ahead? And don;t forget, your job is to fdefend the laws
and constitution of the US, the very laws and constitution that make the
e-mail illegal!!

I had a wedding in the family a few weeks ago, and one of the wedding couple
was a Catawba Indian. The other member of the couple was indifferent to
religion, so the cermenoy wass primarily based on Catawba and Cherokee
tradition. The boyfriend of the mother of the bride walked out in a huff ---
he is a devout Baptist. Other guests waited for the cermeony to end, tossed
the bird seed, and then left before the reception (the food was
_delicious_). All through the reception I heard grumbling like God wasn;t
mentioned even once, how can a marrriage last if God doesn;t bless it, the
marriage won;t last if one of the couple is a "heathen" --- yes, that word
was used several times.
Talk about religious intolerance, bigotry, and feeling persecuted!!
Fake christians. Bah.

And they can delete it and ignore the other part of it as well.

Once open you are subjected to religious BS that you may find deeply
offensive, even hateful.

I deal with BS that I find offensive and hateful all the time, including
required seminars and mailings during my short tenure as a public employee
where I was told by supervisors that people who shared my political views
were "racists", "sexists", and "homophobes" who "shouldn't be allowed to
work here". However, unlike Larry Hewitt and the rest of the liberal
crybabies, I just tuned it out and concentrated on my job.

From an anonymous source is one thing, from your
superior is another. Remebder, the career you are just starting on depends

Show me where in any law that the e-mail was "illegal" - go ahead.

Uh, who's throwing the tantrum here, Larry? It appears that you are.

I had a wedding in the family a few weeks ago, and one of the wedding

religions, but at least he didn't behead anyone like your beloved Muslims...

WHy should they have to?

They don't HAVE to - but they have the right to?

Why can the highest ranking cadet send official
e-mail promoting a particular religion.

Why can the head of a university or public employees send e-mails endorsing
their own political views or encouraging others to join in partisan
political activities? Once again, the hypocrisy of the Lefty Liberals makes
itself apparent - they assume to have the right to do exactly what they
would forbid from others.

Tell me, rightard. How would you like it is your biss repeatedly sent you
e-amils promoting Wicca? Or atheism?

You mean "boss"? If they did that, I would just delete them, and if they
insisted on pushing X political or religious philosophy I didn't care for, I

Air Force Cadet E-Mails Religious Quotes

By ROBERT WELLER, Associated Press Writer Wed Jun 1, 2:43 PM

ET

DENVER - On the eve of his graduation, the top cadet at the

Air

Force

Academy sent out a religious-themed e-mail to thousands of

fellow

cadets, even as the school is grappling with complaints that

some

evangelical Christians are harassing others at the school.

Most cadets at the academy know where the [Del] button is on

their

computer,

so they don't need self-appointed nannys such as yourself

protecting

them...

Ah, yes, the rightard christofascist last resort --- blame the

victim.

So receiving an e-mail you don't want makes you a "victim"? You

may

find

this hard to believe, Harry, but the vast majority of cadets

aren't

miserable little crybabies like you liberals. Men who may have to

risk

their

lives by climbing into a jet fighter, skippering a nuclear

submarine,

or

leading ground troops into battle, aren't cowed by an e-mail, even

if

doesn't reflect their personal religious beliefs.

Is iot just that you cannot comprehend it, or is it that you

deliberately

deny the truth?
It ain;t just any e-mail that is the problem. It is a religious

e-mail

from

a superior.

The cadets MUST read it --- it could have important or offical

information

in it. Avoiding it could be fatal to your career.

And they can delete it and ignore the other part of it as well.

WHy should they have to?

They don't HAVE to - but they have the right to?

Huh??

Why can the highest ranking cadet send official
e-mail promoting a particular religion.

Why can the head of a university or public employees send e-mails

endorsing

their own political views or encouraging others to join in partisan
political activities? Once again, the hypocrisy of the Lefty Liberals

makes

itself apparent - they assume to have the right to do exactly what they
would forbid from others.

App;es and oranges.
First, you have NEVER shown that this happened. I don;t think it did, I
think you are making it up. For _if_ it had happened this way _someone_
would have complained.
What I think _really_ happened was that invitations to participate in
extra-curricular activities and you got your buns in a knot because your
flavor of polotical activity was not represented. Just like my alma
mater --- there were 4 democrats on campus.
Second, the situation you describe is dissimila. Religious speech is
specifically prohibited. The lead cadet is in the direct chain of caommand
and has the ability to kill a caerreer. And the e-mail from a superior MUST
be read --- despite you valiant attempt to spin it into an optional
message --- while a message from a campus functionary is informational only.

Tell me, rightard. How would you like it is your biss repeatedly sent

you

e-amils promoting Wicca? Or atheism?

You mean "boss"? If they did that, I would just delete them, and if they
insisted on pushing X political or religious philosophy I didn't care for,

I

would just make it known that I personally think X is pretty stupid.

And if you deleted an e-mail that had must know information in it? And your
lackof that informatio cost you your job??
I actually had this situation at IBM --- my department manager insisted on
starting each e-mail with a prayer and had a random passage from the bible
in her sig. We could not ignore it --- she was giving us job instructions
most of the time. ONE complaint to senior management resulted in HER
termination for making it a hateful envirinamnet.
So stop sidestepping the question with spin an d typing flames.
How would you react if your boss seny you work related e-mails with atheist
tracts or quotes from the Quran in it. How would you feel if the person who
held your future in his hands repeatedly espoused a position you found
hateful, and that hateful philosophy was endimic in your place of
employment? Would you feel pressured to hide the very basic, fundamental
philosophy that makes ou what you are? Would you e afriad that you might
slip and say somehting that will get you in hack? Would you expect an equal
opportunity for advancement as those who are part of the "in" crowd? Would
you want to stay in an organzation that treats you as inferior?
Unlike

pathetic little cowards such as yourself that break down trembling at an
e-mail they don't like, I simply delete it. I have the reputation in my
industry that any boss that does anything stupid is going to hear from me,
so most of my bosses made an effort not to ***** me off too much.

Bwahahahaha. You terrorize your bosses. Goood one :>)

Yet you see no problem pushing "christian" bullhockey off on the resst

of

the world.

Why do you assume that I am a Christian to begin with, and where have I
pushed such? Show me some sources and cites, please...

No assumption. You have made the fact perfectly clear.
Larry

Hitler explains Neut Gingrich's GOPAC lecture--

"The art of propaganda lies in understanding the emotional ideas of the
great masses and finding, through a psychologically correct form, the
way to the attention and thence to the heart of the broad masses. The
fact that our bright boys do not understand this merely shows how mentally
lazy and conceited they are.
Once we understand how necessary it is for propaganda to be adjusted to
the broad mass, the following rule results:
It is a mistake to make propaganda many-sided, like scientific instruction,
for instance. The receptivity of the great masses is very limited,
their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous.
In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited
to a very few points and must harp on these in sloans until the
last member of the public understands what you want him to understand
by your slogan.
As soon as you sacrifice this slogan and try to be many-sided,
the effect will piddle away, for the crowd can neither digest nor retain
the material offered. In this way the result is weakened and in the
end entirely cancelled out."

drug out to be beaten, lynched, shot, castrated or worse.

Which reminds me - do the Democrats still proudly count that Klansman

Fortunately or unfortunately, anyone can claim to be a member of any
party they want.
And don't mention the KKK unless you can deal with Republican KKK
member David Duke.
