I don't have as high an opinion of Ms. Rice's intellectual abilities as you

pretentious nitwit, a Washington talking head who has backed Shrub in
all his lies and distortions. I didn't know that Liberals had to love
every minority in Government no matter how despicable they may be.
Over 1,000 Americans and countless Iraqis have died since we invaded.
Condi was right there, beating the drum as the Bushies unleashed the
dogs of war. She still justifies tens of thousands of deaths on the
basis that Iraq was an "unstabilizing" influence in the Middle East,
as if invading it would stabilize anything, as if the mountain of dead
and maimed were worth it.
As for those other minorities appointed by Bush, good for them, but I
wouldn't use that fact alone as some sort of moral platform. There
would be few minorities anywhere in Government if the Liberal
Democrats hadn't taken the bold step in the 1960s of pushing through
legislation that ensured civil rights, if the Liberals hadn't joined
with M.L. King and the civil rights movement to overturn centuries of
oppression. All of that was opposed by Conservatives who preached that
States should have the right to disenfranchise whole blocks of people,
that segregation on the basis of race was a fine thing, and that
separate but equal was fair and reasonable. And a I wouldn't be too
proud of a party that uses its resources to appeal to the very worst
in everyone, as they've done with you. Heah, in the deep South, the
KKK votes repub'kkkan, and advocates for all the repub'kkkan
candidates. Lincoln must be turning over in his grave.
