Sez there that the pope asked Christ to save the world from war and
terrorism.
< innocent expression >
How come no Christian ever thought of this before?

If even the Pope can't get his prayers answered, why does anyone
bother to pray?

Well, Al, everyone knows that Catholics are going to hell because they
don't ***** god right. Only born-again, Holy Spirit filled Baptists go
to heaven. You really need to read your Chick tracts more closely.

I thought Holy Rollers considered Baptists to be apostates.

Yes, and vice versa. The funny thing is that both
Pentacostals/Charismatics/AoG weirdos and Baptists both use the phrase
"born-again spirit-filled" they just mean different things by it and
are very vocal in condemning the other for their "faulty" use of the
term.
Celsus definitely hit the nail on the head.

and cannot come to any sort of agreement in their teachings. Each
sect brands its own, fills the head of its own with deceitful
nonsense, and makes perfect little pigs of those it wins over to
its side." -- Celsus (2nd century C.E.)

Celsus definitely hit the nail on the head.
The citation is by a 1980's writer called R.J.Hoffmann, not the
ancient philospher Celsus. He did a fake 'translation', but rewrote
it to serve his own purposes.

OK, RJ Hoffmann definitely hit the nail on the head. The substance of
the quote has little to do with who wrote it.

Thanks for the reference. I'll update my sig to point to Hoffmann.

Glad to help. I think I do give the Hoffmann page ref on my page, if that helps.
