The only way for an imaginary 'God' to truly 'die' is through neglect. Once
you stop worshipping and adoring that 'idea', 'it' goes back to being even
*more* imaginary. And the people that worshipped, honored, adored that
imaginary 'deity'? A whole hell of a lot 'wiser'. And those who cultivated
and nurtured this imaginary 'God'? A lot less rich and a lot less powerful.
*And* out of the 'lying' and child-abusing business.
Science, not religion, has been leading us to the truth. Thank goodness for
the men and women of science.

Zackteckly.

Well imaginary is kinda binary - yes or no - true or false.
One imaginary thing cannot be be more imaginary than another - but I am
being pedantic.
Do go on.

Well.... perhaps. When people abandon one bad idea they dont
necessarilly become perfect - more usually they just take up another
different bad idea. - and find some other excuse for their bad
behaviour.
Or perhaps I am just an old cynic.

Science, not religion, has been leading us to the truth.
You have to tread carefully when talking about truth - there is truth
and there is Truth,
The truths of science are no substitute for the "Truth" of religion -
they are chalk and cheese.
Science is not my alternative to "God" - freedom, life , compassion,
kindness, humour, laughter, sex etc. - is my alternative to god.
Thank goodness for
the men and women of science.
Yeah - science is cool - just dont treat it like a religion.

I certainly don't. I know what science represents. Points mentioned well
taken.

I'll buy it for you and have it sent to your address!
Now sit down and read it!
(Don't tell me that you can't read! ;)
