evolutionism ? WHAT THE ***** IS EVOLUTIONISM? <vent> jeesh, they make it
sound like some kind of life guiding philsophy (which it isn't.) One would
hardly call oneself a gravitationalist, so why an evolutionist?
Let me repeat it (for the stupid people, not pointing at any particular
group;) The theory of evolution is not a philosophy, a religion, or a
political movement. There is no such thing as evolutionism.
So for the record : When I get up in the morning, I do not pray to darwin. I
don't feel the need to interpret everyhing in light of the theory of
evolution. The theory explains observations in the biological sciences,
nothing more.
Picking ONE idea and interpreting everything in light of it sounds like
something fundie christians do. Please do not assume that the rest of the
world is so stupid.
