BRITAIN's first Christian adventure theme park - with a life-size
Noah's Ark and a David and Goliath re-enactment - could be built in
God's own county.
Leeds businesswoman Andrea Webster is calling on fellow worshippers
across the UK to support her crusade to develop a site where Disney
meets the Bible.
As the UK's first Christian adventure theme park, Ark Alive would aim
to bring Bible stories to life through a mix of leisure entertainment,
fun and interactive displays.
It would guide visitors through a series of elaborate themed areas
depicting famous events described in the Old and New Testaments.
The project is the brainchild of Andrea, a 40-year-old mother of two
from Guiseley, who owns a number of children's day nurseries in Leeds
and has been a committed Christian since she was 14."

Looks like that new park in Kentucky might have some competition from
the other side of the pond. :)

I'm willing to bet the American version is better, what with the poor
quality of BBC amusement television and all. I doubt they can do much
better with some Christian theme park...

Wow, another real one!
"She says her faith is supported by rising church attendance, with the
latest figures from the Church of England showing the number of people
going to Sunday worship is back to one million, a rise of one per cent."
wow, that's over 2% of people
Though how someone who merely owns a few day care centres could fund
such a project is a litle beyond me
