The Holy Spirit leads me to write the following:
"But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to
forgive sins.... I tell you get up, take your mat and go home." --
LORD Jesus Christ healing a paralytic to the amazement of all witnesses
who then proceeded to praise GOD (Mark 2:10-12).
Now please forgive those who have trespassed against you as per our
LORD's prayer.
We know jesus never healed anybody, or raised anybody who was actually dead.
If he had, the news would have spread to the Jewish and Roman authorities,
and the last thing anybody would do is kill someone capable of working
miracles for them and their loved ones - then or now.
Both authorities had good informant networks to keep an eye on the people.
The gullible may have been taken in by third rate magic acts, but critical
spies? No.
Imagine how Pilate's stature would have risen with Caesar if he had sent to
Rome a man ACTUALLY capable of miracle healings and raising the dead.
Imagine the influence that a REAL Messiah would have gained by a
relationship with the most powerful man in the world.
The Romans were very superstitious and tolerant of other peoples' religions.
Not only would they be willing to give a miracle performer a chance to prove
himself, but they would be reluctant to incur the wrath of any god(s) who
empowered such a person.
No Andrew, it is a cult that happened to get a foothold, and then was forced
upon people by Caesar Constantine 300 years later, as a political ploy in
response to the political problems of his time.
Yes Andrew, you are an extreme dupe, among many dupes.
Now, what kind of a brainless answer will you give me?

I liked the part in Passion where Jesus magically glued the Roman's ear
back on and the dude was like, yeah so I still have to take you to
jail.
Like what's up with that? If somebody glued my body part back on I'd at
least be like how the ***** did you do that? Let alone drag his ***** down
to prison. He might unglue my ear, or maybe even a more important body
part.
I bet he was a plant.
When are they gonna make the sequel to that anyhow? I mean it's
obviously set up for a sequel with that cheesey ***** Holywood ending
where the good guy wasn't really dead. I bet the sequel will never get
made now that everybody found out Mel is a closet Nazi.

A phony quote from Ecclesiastes, that can be found nowhere in that book -
that's his reply to a very basic, unshakeable criticism on the whole
foundation of his christian belief system.
Does Andrew really belief this xian crap, himself?

I am a conservtive Christian. I love the Lord, I worry about some of his
freakin followers, tho. If someone wants to believe in a door knob, ...let
them. If you sre sincerly nice to someone they may actually look at your
life. Hell, I ignore what people say. They usually talk a lot of drek.
If we would clean up our own front yard, so to speak, we'd all be a lot
bettr!!

Actually, Christianity had simply become so popular that Constantine

the restrictions that had been placed on it by earlier emperors. As for
having undue influence on the church he consorted with heretics right up
to the end (his) and was NOT considered orthodox by most bishops.
But then you probably get your 4th century history from Chick tracts or

Like who for instance? Benny Hinman is rich from "preforming" miracle
cures.
Who has performed verifiable miracles? Who, what, when, where?
Be specific.
I actually know an Anglican priest who healed the sick at Thursday
morning mass. And no, I won't be specific. In the past, when that has
happened, both the healer and the healee have been beset by people like
you, ATTACKING them. You are, in fact, living proof of what you say
won't happen.
In fact that's the basis for the neo-luddite attacks
on science. WAKE UP!
You blind idiot. Nobody attacks and kills MDs who save people by using
medical science.
That's not exactly true, either. But you're spoiled from living in parts
of the world where there is actually LAW.
Nobody would kill a person who ACTUALLY DID MIRACLE CURES AND RAISED
THE DEAD.
I'm not convinced, at this point in our conversation, that YOU would not
do so (except for the law).
You're parroting crap you hear in your moronic church.
No, I am not. I'm telling you what I've seen over several decades.
What scientist is being persecuted?
Pick any prominent evolutionary biologist and you will find them vilified
in print and on the web. The only thing PREVENTING their immolation by
the fanatics is the law. Remember, Pilate WAS the law.
the last thing anybody would do is kill someone capable of working
miracles for them and their loved ones - then or now.
Both authorities had good informant networks to keep an eye on the
people. The gullible may have been taken in by third rate magic
acts, but critical spies? No.
Imagine how Pilate's stature would have risen with Caesar if he had
sent to Rome a man ACTUALLY capable of miracle healings and raising
the dead. Imagine the influence that a REAL Messiah would have
gained by a relationship with the most powerful man in the world.
Pilate, however, was an *****. And that's not MY opinion, that's the
conclusion Caesar came to.
Fool, Pilate was relieved because he was creating unrest in the
province. The same happened to other provincial "governors" at various
times.
Yes, that's what happens when you appoint asses as provincial governors.
In Pilate's case it was, you might say, royally regretted.
Pilate, like anyone else, would not kill someone capable of actually
do miracle cures or raising the dead.
Pilate was a weak politician. He would kill anyone if he thought it
might settle down his province, guilty or not.
Sure, you can imagine anything you want, but
your imaginings might be a whole lot better if you really understood
the dynamics of 1st century Palestinian politics.
It is you, xian fantasist, who is imaging things.
No, it is you. You're as ignorant and intolerant a bigot as you try to
paint me to be. If you want to clean up some of the bigotry in the
world, start at home.
The Romans were very superstitious and tolerant of other peoples'
religions. Not only would they be willing to give a miracle
performer a chance to prove himself, but they would be reluctant to
incur the wrath of any god(s) who empowered such a person.
This is true, and SOME Romans actually worried about this with
respect to Jesus and the Christians who came after Him. But, as
noted, Pilate was an *****. He was in such a panic to curry favour
with Caesar that he tried to pander to every political wind in the
area.
No Andrew, it is a cult that happened to get a foothold, and then
was forced upon people by Caesar Constantine 300 years later, as a
political ploy in response to the political problems of his time.
Actually, Christianity had simply become so popular that Constantine
could profess it.
Liar. It took coercion to spread it.
Wrong again. A great deal of coercion went into trying to KEEP it from
spreading. None of that worked. It spread anyway. The Pantheon
actually remained a pagan temple for another 100 years, until the empire
simply ran out of pagans to run it and it was handed over to the Church.
He NEVER forced it upon the people, but rather lifted
the restrictions that had been placed on it by earlier emperors. As
for having undue influence on the church he consorted with heretics
right up to the end (his) and was NOT considered orthodox by most
bishops.
But then you probably get your 4th century history from Chick tracts
or some such.
I get it from history books written by actual historians - not corrupt
braindeads like you.
I don't theenk so, senor. You seem to either make it up as you go along
or get it from Jack Chick's virulently anti-Catholic tracts.
You're as much a victim of Protestant revisionism as any fundy.

I wouldn't dream of saying so. In fact, there is a Christian bigot
faction in the USA today that is just dying to make Bin Laden's
"crusade" argument into a true statement. Even traditional Christians
have had dangerous bouts of bigotry. But secular LAW prevents most of
the excesses. We do, however, whether we are theists or atheists need to
remain civilized if our society is to prosper.

You're asking for documentation that jesus didn't do any miracle cures.
Here's some: the bible says jesus was put to death. I pointed out nobody
