Anger at British Muslim leader's anti-gay remarks
A leading Muslim leader in Britain has sparked controversy by condemning
same-sex partnerships and describing homosexuality as harmful and "not
acceptable".
Iqbal Sacranie, head of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), told the BBC in
an interview that same-sex relationships risked damaging the very
foundations of society.
"It does not augur well in building the very foundations of society -
stability, family relationships. And it is something we would certainly not,
in any form, encourage the community to be involved in."
Homosexuality was spreading disease and was immoral, Sacranie said.

Oh, they all also agree that the only god is their god, that believers
in any other god other than It will burn forever, that It has given them
a mandate to make the world over according to Its dictates, that
violence in Its name is always justified.
Really, it doesn't matter what you believe, just as long

You might read up on your new buddy, Sacranie, and see what other
interesting ideas appeal to his theology:

If I found myself agreeing with Sacranie, I think I'd re-evaluate my

Well, you can keep the warring ones. Who knows? Maybe they'll kill each
other off.
Personally, I prefer the peaceful, responsible ones. They make better
neighbors.

Don't the Muslims have prohibitions against auguries?
