You can spin

it all you want, but all anyone needs to do to find out for
themselves is to listen to those two blow hards.

Like I said, door swings both ways.

And like I said. The fact that you recognize the Republicans lie
doesn't mean the Democrats do so.

Try calling Hannitty's radio show and express a viewpoint he doesn't

That is wrong, I have seen him talk to people who express different

I have even listened to Rush tell a liberal he was right on an issue and he

Sorry about your luck, but you are just flat out wrong.

You are a moron. You simply deny things and think that is "debating."

I disagree with the subject line. Mr. McCain's coming to the

In short, it's a mind-set almost absent in government.

There is at least one way that Schwartzenegger is "business as usual," at least
for Republicans. He's a spendaholic on personal staff. He hired more staffers,
violating the state-wide hiring freeze and spent more money on them than Davis.
He's also hiding their salaries in other budgets, just like Davis did.
Like most modern Republicans he ran on a platform of smaller government and
immediately increased the size of government once he was in office. He's just
another hypocrite. Business as usual.

That makes at least two of us. I feel exactly the same. I disagreed
with Barry on many topics, but i always felt that he was an honorable
man. These phonies couldn't even spell 'honor', much less 'truth'.

The "New Republicans" DID horrify Barry Goldwater and he lectured them quite
eloquently on the Senate floor back in 1981.

"Well, I've spent quite a number of years carrying the flag of the 'Old
Conservatism.' And I can say with conviction that the religious issues of
these groups [the neo-conservative Religious Right] have little or nothing to
do with conservative or liberal politics. The uncompromising position of
these
groups is a divisive element that could tear apart the very spirit of our
representative system, if they gain sufficient strength. Being a conservative
in America traditionally has meant that one holds a deep, abiding respect for
the Constitution. We conservatives believe sincerely in the integrity of the
Constitution. We treasure the freedoms that document protects.... By
maintaining the separation of church and state the United States has avoided
the intolerance which has so divided the rest of the world with religious
wars
.... Can any of us refute the wisdom of Madison and the other framers? Can
anyone look at the carnage in Iran, the bloodshed in Northem Ireland, or the
bombs bursting in Lebanon and yet question the dangers of injecting religious
issues into the affairs of state? The religious factions will go on imposing
their will on others unless the decent people connected to them recognize

Now everyone, even the Dems are afraid to speak out about what the
Religious Right phonies are doing to the country. I remember that
after the 9th Circuit Court decision the Senate passed a resolution
defending the silly 'Under GAWD' phrase in the Pledge by a vote of
99-0. It was only 99 votes because one of them, Jesse Helms I think,
was in the hospital.
I wish that we had guys like Barry back in government today.

There is at least one way that Schwartzenegger is "business as usual,"

at least

for Republicans. He's a spendaholic on personal staff. He hired more

staffers,

violating the state-wide hiring freeze and spent more money on them than

Davis.

He's also hiding their salaries in other budgets, just like Davis did.

Like most modern Republicans he ran on a platform of smaller government

and

immediately increased the size of government once he was in office. He's

just

another hypocrite. Business as usual.

Agreed.
