Not really. Hoover was -in all likelihood- gay and so was Ernest

Do not forget Roy Cohn, Senator Joe McCarthy's right hand man, a "known

I know I certainly would!
Be surprised, that is.
I'm amazed at the contortions these people are capable
of, all just to do as they please and pretend that it's
somehow God's fault, that they're only doing what
God told them to do.
I mean, just look at the religious Reich. They got
started with their first organized efforts in 1979
with the "Moral Majority." Lead by a southern
Baptist, they championed the cause AGAINST a
born-again southern Baptist in favor of a divorced
Hollywood movie star... and they haven't stopped
denouncing Hollywood & movie stars since.
Well, except when they needed someone to take
the Californian Governor's seat for the Republicans.
Then Hollywood & movie stars were okay. But
only just for then.... that brief time.

Sounds to me like it's JTEM who is the murderer
here.

So your problems aren't limited to your brain, and
extend to your ears as well.
No surprise.

DUH. Maybe Arthur Finkelstein finds Hillary and the other Democrats'

issue of gay marriage.
People who aren't simpleminded gulliberals are able to evaluate

Ah, I see. Bill Clinton points out the hypocricy of a man who has
worked for some of the most homophobic politicians in the United
States, who has been the brains behind some of the most bigoted
and hate-filled homophobic political and social campaigns the
United States has seen in decades and who then gets legally
married to his long time male partner, and *Clinton* is the gay
bashing politician.

Yep.

LOL Fred. Another plank in your hypocracy set down in concrete.

LOL yourself. I guess it doesn't occur to you that some homosexuals
might have other priorities than voting Democratic?

What has that got to do with it?

DUH. Maybe Arthur Finkelstein finds Hillary and the other Democrats'
stands on other issues to be so repulsive that it outweighs the single
issue of gay marriage.

People who aren't simpleminded gulliberals are able to evaluate
political candidates on more than the one issue that the Democrats
choose for them.

Take off the black and white glasses Fred.
A - you don't have to work for people who hate your guts to support
other issues. You can work to change the organization that supports
all the rest (which this person most definiately didn't) or you can
choose people who support homosexuals but still support your other
issues (gasp - those actually do exist).
B - That doesn't support a charge of bigotry even if it did follow.
If I told you, you were self loathing as an atheist to work within and
help support a fundimentialist regime that actively is working to
remove your civil rights, it hardly would mean that I hate atheists.
This is why you have such problems with politics. You can't get from
A to B even with a road map. Obviously you don't want to be rational.

Republicans don't necessarily "hate his guts". Obviously that's true,
since they employ any number of homosexuals in high offices. People like
"this guy" himself. He *is* working with the people who support his
other issues (gasp!). It's you Democrats who think that just because
they support gay marriage that that should override every other issue in
the world. Why try to swim uphill against an organization that doesn't
support 90% of your issues just because they *do* support one?

B - That doesn't support a charge of bigotry even if it did follow.

It would mean that you hate atheists who won't vote your way. Nobody's
trying to revoke any rights anyway. They just don't want those "rights"
being invented by a court.

This is why you have such problems with politics. You can't get from
A to B even with a road map. Obviously you don't want to be rational.

Look who's talking. You're too prejudiced to even understand that your
whole argument works for Republicans as well as Democrats.

"Hate"? Do you know the meaning of the word?
Or do you just through words around?
Don't answer, that was a rhetorical question.

I merely echoed Kate's use of the word. Do you bother to pay attention
