'Another Gay Movie' terrible but full of truth |
Pedophiles, gerbils and enemas, everything that you find in everyday
life makes this movie a sad mirror of the depraved lifestyle of
homosexuals.
'Another Gay Movie'
This movie is sooo gay in every way, especially the pejorative way. It
is not just "Another Gay Movie" (). It is not merely bad. It is worse.
No, it is the worst movie I've seen all year -- and that's saying
something.
Initial blame lies with the "American Pie" flicks for inspiring (we use
the word loosely) director Todd Stephens' homosexual variation on the
gross-out high-school hijinks comedy genre.
Four gay pals (Jonathan Chase, Michael Carbonaro, Mitch Morris and
Jonah Blechman as an over-the-top New York '80s techno-club kid) make a
pact to lose their virginity before they go to college. Talk about
original! The only people you've heard of here are British talk-show
host Graham Norton as a Twisted Brother, and "Survivor" star (an
oxymoron) Richard Hatch as Himself. Who else could he play?
Meanwhile, back at the raunch, every conceivable anal-sex joke is
employed and, uh, explored -- complete with gerbils, enemas,
full-frontal nudity, a pedophile named Rodzilla and the substitution of
homo quiche for the autoerotic violation of hetero pie. It's unrated
for good reason, so far beyond campy R that it's really X:
semi-hard-core gay porn masquerading as soft. You wouldn't take Aunt
Thelma even if she belonged to PFLAG.
One funny bit, though, is the name of their southern California
institution of higher learning: San Torum High School.
Not rated by MPAA.
