White Supremacist Busted on Child-Porn Charge
Leading Intellectual of Racist Movement Was Arrested by Federal Agents

Jan. 4, 2007 - - A leader of the white supremacist movement was arraigned
today on charges of possession of child pornography and witness tampering
after being arrested by FBI agents Thursday night at his home in
Charlottesville, Va.
Kevin Alfred Strom, founder of the National Vanguard white supremacist
group, was considered the leading intellectual of the movement since the
death of William Pierce, the author of the notorious "Turner Diaires."
Strom was arraigned in U.S. District Court in Charlottesville, charged with
the two counts, and is currently being held at a facility in the city.
According to the indictment, he allegedly possessed or attempted to possess
"multiple images of child pornography" on his computer's hard drive.
Strom was also charged with witness tampering, which involved physically
assaulting and mentally intimidating a witness to his criminal activity.
Last July, Strom took a leave of absence from National Vanguard, citing
"family and health matters" and saying that he had "made mistakes,
sometimes serious ones," according to the Southern Poverty Law Center,
which tracks white supremacist activity.
"After the death of Pierce, Kevin positioned himself to take over the
leadership of the National Alliance," says Mark Potok, the editor of the
SPLC's "Intelligence Report." "But he wasn't in the same position as Pierce
and he didn't get the same respect. He was a wannabe and he was considered
something of a wimp by other supremacists."
Strom wrote frequently about art and beauty, often rhapsodizing about the
physical attributes of white women and girls.
In an 2003 essay titled "Millstone for the Mogul" for the National
Alliance's Web site, he condemned the producers of the movie "Thirteen" for
"what they are doing to our little children -- teen and preteen White
children -- to normalize perverse and degenerate sexual behavior for them,
to normalize homosexuality, to prematurely sexualize them, and to make
interracial sex fashionable to them -- can never be forgiven, can never be
explained away. The media moguls who are doing this to our children deserve
to be tried and punished for conspiracy, rape, gang rape, murder and
attempted murder."
Later in the essay, he goes on to describe his desire to give children
"self-respect, respect for their ancestors, respect for the future of their
people, a deep respect for their own sexual nature, and respect for the
members of the opposite sex who will be their mates and life companions."

Strom's marriage to his first wife, Kirsten Helene Kaiser, produced three
children. Since their marriage ended, Kaiser has spoken out about her life
with Strom in several interviews. She has also written a book on her
experiences with Strom and the National Alliance entitled The Bondage of
Self (ISBN 0-9720705-5-9). Kaiser claimed that Strom was an extremely
controlling husband who forced her to abstain from meat, forbade her to
wear blue jeans, and predetermined her favorite music, Mozart. She has
since disavowed the racist beliefs she held while married to Strom and has
summarized their years together: "Hundreds of women like me have gotten
hooked up with some man from a racist group who controls their lives. I
want them to know that if I can escape and regain my soul, they can too."

like a hypocrite in this possession charge?
Why don't they try to bust down on whoever is producing this material
instead of on persons who may have something of this nature on their system
with or without their knowledge, and how do they know how it got on his
system to begin with?

charges.
So the D.A. is some combination of homosexual, Pro-Choice, [or]
racist" for indicting someone who owned child pornography? Well, if
you'd claim that, it says a lot about you, and none of it too
flattering since you seem to be excusing criminals! It is, however,
nice to hear you admit that homosexuals and pro-choice people don't
like child pornographers.
Now, it is possible that Strom was set up by someone who doesn't like
him - I'm sure he has lots of enemies - but those enemies are most
likely not the DA or police department. It is very easy to plant any
kind of file on an unsuspecting person's computer, so someone out to
get someone could easily plant some child pornography. You don't need
physical access to the computer to do it either. If this possibility
scares you, you are higly recommended to *not* use MS Windows. :-)
That possibility aside, the most likely explanation is that the guy
really did download or otherwise obtain these illegal images, and will
deserve whatever sentence he gets.
I see no indication that he produced the material in question.
Moron - it is illegal to possess child pornography, not only to produce
it.
And, why is NAMBLA in business?
Last I heard, "NAMBLA" seems to consist of a tiny membership list
(regardless of whether there are any members left) and a web site.
Sometimes web sites outlive the organizations that set them up because
a sys-admin sometimes forgets to delete the files when they stopped
paying their bills.
If it is actually staying "in business", it is probably because nobody
had the energy to formally shut it down.

You really have to wonder about someone who would post such a lie
when it is so easily checked.

Atheists are America’s least trusted group, according to a national
survey conducted by University sociology researchers.
Based on a telephone survey of more than 2,000 households and in-depth

rate atheists below Muslims, recent immigrants, homosexuals and other
groups as “sharing their vision of American society.” Americans are
also least willing to let their children marry atheists.
“It tells us about how Americans view religion,” said Penny Edgell, an

Americans seem to believe some kind of religious faith is central to
being a good American and a good person.”
The study will appear in the April issue of the “American Sociological
Review.” Professor Joseph Gerteis and associate professor Douglas
Hartmann are study co-authors. It is the first in a series of national
studies conducted by the American Mosaic Project, a three-year project
that looks at race, religion and cultural diversity in the United
States.
Edgell said Americans traditionally have been a religious people and
associate faith with being a good citizen. The survey results indicate
that this belief hasn’t changed, Edgell said.
Those surveyed tended to view people who don’t believe in a god as the
“ultimate self-interested actor who doesn’t care about anyone but
themselves,” Edgell said.
