"A Republican congressman accused of abusing his ex-mistress agreed to
pay her about $500,000 in a settlement last year that contained a
powerful incentive for her to keep quiet until after Election Day, a
person familiar with the terms of the deal told The Associated Press."
Now this is the party of the right, the party of God, and here is a
Repub reportedly paying a half million in silence money. How many
people could that have helped if it had been donated to a responsible
charity? Only one?
But the Repub was only doing what Jesus commanded: "The poor you will
have with you always", God bless him....

To quote the Rabbi in Fiddler, "God keep him ..." We sure don't need
him.
