Biblical Excuses
Answers to excuses about the Bible. Excuses are in quotes.
"God is too complex for people to understand in words."
So why are we supposedly required to try to understand a book about Him?
"There are cultural references that need to be understood."
Why would the Biblical God use, or allow the authors of His Word to use,
cultural references that would be so hard to
understand in another time and place in the future?
"People fail to understand the Bible because the language was non-explicit
back then."
Why didn't the Biblical God make the language back then more explicit?

Answers to excuses about the Bible. Excuses are in quotes.
"God is too complex for people to understand in words." So why are we
supposedly required to try to understand a book about Him?
el: "Unless you are jewish, you are not required to understand it. It's
not a book meant for everyone."
"There are cultural references that need to be understood." Why would
the Biblical God use, or allow the authors of His Word to use, cultural
references that would be so hard to understand in another time and place
in the future?
el: "Because they were not meant to be understood in another time and
place in the future. They were meant to be understood in the
Mediterranean area thousands of years ago."
"People fail to understand the Bible because the language was
non-explicit back then."
Why didn't the Biblical God make the language back then more explicit?
el: "It was made explicit for the people for whom it was written. They
didn't have a problem understanding it."

Look for somebody else to manipulate, not me.

You apparently aren't aware of the contradiction, so I'll draw your
attention to it. You're attempting (and failing, by the way) to
manipulate us with your cult's scare tactics (which you should know
are virtually meaningless to us), while asking us to not manipulate
you by pointing out you aren't following your own cult's rules (which
we know are virtually meaningless to you). Confused much?
