Anybody else using optonline.net and not seeing messges? |
Optonline seems to be playing silly buggers again. The last time this
happened their usenet database message numbering got out of sync with
the newsrc and it took me a couple of days to clean up. Losing
goodness knows how many messages in the process.
Email seems to be working OK.

Not as of Friday. We were closed today, but I'll see what happens
when I'm at work tomorrow.

Just downloaded alt.atheism on the optonline account. No posts after
11:41 PM, 1/1/2005. It's 12 hours after that now.
....
Just did another download - picked up stuff to 12:50 AM, 1/2/2005.
It's running way behind.

Seems to be working again. Yesterday's messages are arriving.
Something must have cleared a logjam.
