Anybody want to join my new religion? |
Thou shalt love God who is one God, not that other God, and his friend
the one and only God, God but ignore his father,God, he isnt a proper
God. Thou shalt also like his son, God but put no other Gods before
him, or thou shalt feel wratheth of God. Thou shalt burn all
non-believers or people who talk about telescopes or other such unholy
devices. Thou shalt not eat or breath or walk with both feet. Thou
shalt hop. If thou do all this thou shall be rich in God's mercy and
only have one arm burned off in a large fire that shall burn your whole
town down and thou will only have medium sized boulders land on thou
head. Thou will only get yellow jaundice and become crippled at 22 if
thou follow these commands. Oh and there will be an annual subscription
of 6 million pounds.

Yet another indication that the ah ... 'bottom line' of much resistance
to religion has to do with financial implications. Whoever said, "The
pocket nerve is the most sensitive nerve in the world," nailed it down
quite well.
