Object: Anyone seeking truth...
I post this message to all those that might be seeking truth and purpose
to take a moment and look over the following web site:
http://www.raptureready.com/index.php
It is a Christian based web site that has a LOT of good information
about Christanity and purpose.
If you are feeling lost or need just a little extra help finding
direction in your life, I invite you to look over that Web site.
The information you seek is there and it's easy to find.
It can answer a lot of life's questions.

OK.
I am a seeker after truth and purpose in my life and this web site
doesnt help.
It's a load of superstitious god crap.

It can answer a lot of life's questions.

Not for me it can't.

Mark.

It can answer your questions if you haven't closed your mind to the
given answers. The answers to life the universe and everything is in
there. You must first overcome the "all you can believe in is what you
can see" thing. You must accept that there is a higher intelligence
than mankind and that, that intelligence cares about our futures.

If the answers to life the universe and everything is there, what are
the questions?

The questions would be:
* Why were you created?
* Why are you required to participate in anything?
* Why should there be anything, other than nothing?

All I saw on your suggested site was a lot noise centered around hate.
And of course this was posted to alt.atheism. Because it is you who

Yup. They're *very* well-schooled in asking certain loaded questions

then supplying pat answers. Same thing they did when I was a

I think they're meant to be silver bullets. In their minds they're
unanswerable so we haven't got anything to say.
What they don't grasp is that these questions are meaningless and
based on metaphysical presumptions that are only granted by those who
have that belief in the first place.
Neither the questions nor the answers have any validity.
But because they're single level thinkers they don't understand just
how much work they have to do to establish the premises behind them.

I think they're meant to be silver bullets. In their minds

Bingo.
These are the most profound questions they've ever considered,
and Wise Men (TM) have--quite conveniently--already answered
them. Therefore, there's no reason why anybody should have to
probe any deeper. Any answers other than the ``true'' ones have
already been considered and rejected by the Wise Men. And who are
we to question the Wise Men? They've devoted their whole lives to
answering these and other important questions. Maybe someday
you'll be a Wise Man, yourself, but, until then, you better trust
the Wise Men if you know what's good for you.
And the ``mere coincidence'' that all the answers do nothing but
further the power and unquestioning obedience of the Wise Men is
something that doesn't even register on the brains they don't use.
It's quite sad, really. Some of these people are even quite
intelligent.../except/ when it comes to questioning their
religion. Then it's like a switch gets flipped and they're
incapable of anything but rebleating dogma.
Of course, what's most frightening is when it carries over to
life outside of the religion. They're already conditioned to
unquestioningly accept anything a Wise Man tells them, and so when
a Wise Man tells them to go to war for no good reason....

Agree the 'Wise Man' isn't, but disagree over 'no good reason.' To
said 'Wise Man' going to war to improve his/her overall financial

from the Word of God. Especially once you know why it is so.

LMAO at the cretin.

All I saw on your suggested site was a lot noise centered around hate.

Christianity *is* lots of noise centered around hate.

And of course this was posted to alt.atheism. Because it is you who
need repentance the most. I know you are a hard people to reach.

You are sooooo fucked up it isn't funny. Who's powering your iron
lung and 'why?'

Remember, you either serve God or you serve Satan. There is no half way
or none at all.

More of the spotlighted lies and ignorance Christians consider
honesty.
You are cordially invited to sit on your cross and rotate at a high
rate of speed. I trust you'll be blessed with a cornucopia of
splinters.

I took a quick glance over your suggested site...

I didn't find anyplace there that would help someone find purpose or
direction for their life. If you could kindly point out that area
that would inspire someone to live a joyous life and to have good will
towards men, please point me to it.

It's a parody site, doofus, designed to poke fun at your silly
superstition.

You see, Christians are getting direction and purpose for thier lives
from the Word of God. Especially once you know why it is so.

You mean once you're brainwashed.

All I saw on your suggested site was a lot noise centered around hate.

Uh-oh, now the poor Christian is feeling persecuted. Even though he is a
member of an 85% majority in this country (USA).

And of course this was posted to alt.atheism. Because it is you who
need repentance the most. I know you are a hard people to reach.

Gee, ya think? I'll let you in on a little secret. We've read your
bible and we probably know it better than you do. We know it is full of
scientific errors and wrong information, contradiction, false prophesy
and downright lies. So much for the perfect word of "god". Don't
believe me? Check this out.

Remember, you either serve God or you serve Satan. There is no half
way or none at all.

Funny how your whole world revolves around your imaginary friends. These
are your beliefs, not ours.
If a child has imaginary friends we shrug and write it off. "He'll grow
out of it", we say. If the child gets past grade school and still has
imaginary friends we start to worry. If an adult has imaginary friends
we take him to a psychologist. Unless his imaginary friends are named
God, Jesus, Allah, Muhammad or Satan, in which case we pat him on the
back and congratulate him for being a fine upstanding citizen.
Good grief.
There is no god. There is no Jesus, there is no Satan, no Allah, no
Muhammad. There are no angels. There is no heaven. And the good part?
There is no hell.
Life begins at birth and ends at death. Make the best of what you have
in between.

Once upon a time in alt.atheism, dear sweet Kenneth Lantrip
(bothersome@cmaaccess.com) made the light shine upon us with this:

I post this message to all those that might be seeking truth and
purpose to take a moment and look over the following web site:

When I seek the truth I turn to science. Science deals with facts and
evidence, while religion feeds me ***** and requires blind faith.
<snip URL>
Do you really believe in a Jesus who said he would return within the
lifetimes of some of those who were supposedly listening to him 2000
years ago? If he did exist, he was a wacko priest and nothing more. His
prophesy of armageddon never happened. If he did exist, he's long dead
now. Take the time to get over it and move on.

It is a Christian based web site that has a LOT of good information
about Christanity and purpose.

You do know the purpose of Christianity, don't you? Control. It's much
easier to tell those in poverty or afflicted by famine and disease to go
back to their demise and scratch out the best living they possibly can,
and most importantly *behave* themselves, when you tell them the laws
they have to follow come from a source beyond reach, a higher authority.
You give them a horrific punishment if they're bad, and a grand reward if
they're good, but it only applies in the "next" life, so it costs you
nothing. It gives "purpose" to their otherwise miserable lives, and it
shows in the fact that the more poverty-stricken an area is, the more
stringent and harsh their mainstream religion is. Most people fear death
enough that they *want* to believe anything you tell them, and they'll
give you anything if you comfort them more - even their hard-earned cash.

If you are feeling lost or need just a little extra help finding
direction in your life, I invite you to look over that Web site.

The information you seek is there and it's easy to find.

It can answer a lot of life's questions.

No thanks. I know what you're selling, and I ain't interested.
