Archdiocese passes plate online |
This is a wonderful option for those who do not identify as Catholics, but
admire all the good works of the Church and would like to lend a hand.

Archdiocese passes plate online
Electronic donation becomes easy option for parishioners
Fewer people will be dropping cash in the collection baskets at
Catholic churches in Southwest Ohio in the new year.
For a good reason. They will have already given to their church
online.
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati has made online
giving an option for its 230 parishes and 110 parochial and diocesan
schools.
"It's a way to make things a little easier for people and for
them to be a little more regular in their giving to the church," said
Archbishop Daniel Pilarczyk.
He said he recognizes it's not the giving solution for everyone,
and doesn't expect it to replace collections during Mass. It's just another
option.
"If someone feels it's symbolically richer if you put something
in the basket on Sunday, that's fine and I respect that," Pilarczyk said.
Many churches offer an envelope or card that allows parishioners
to say "I gave online."

As in "lend a hand" covering all those lawsuits stemming from the RCC's
kiddy-diddling scandals?

Because fewer people actually go to hear a pedophile bore a handful of
grandmothers that actually make it to the pews.

Obviously they are nearly broke after paying reparations for all the
gay pedophilia they have perpetrated.
