Are atheists naturally not seekers of truth? |
I have a few questions to ask of you:
1. Why have their been witnesses to the miracles I have seen?
I can understand you calling me a delusional schizophrenic if I was
the only witness to the miracles I have seen but I am not the only
witness. There are ten witnesses total to the miracles I have seen.
Four witnesses to the bird imprinted on my window, one witness to the
ten-dollar bill coming out of my left arm and five witnesses to the
thorns of Christ imprinted onto my right arm.
2. If Jesus never existed then how do you explain the thorns of Christ
imprinted onto my right arm?
3. How do atheists explain the stigmata on Padre Pio?
If your only response is to tell me to *****, I'll pray for you
since obviously you are a closeminded fool.

Did you see miracles?
Why do you think that you saw miracles?
What happened when and where, and who wittnessed it, and what makes yu
think that there is no natural explanation for it?
Can you put a picture of your right arm on the internet and post a
link,
and can you explain why you believe that there is some atoned one
involved in what is visible on your right arm?
Who is Padre Pio, what's up with him, and why do you think, we should
be able to explain it?
I would be very happy to answer your questions if I had enough
knowledge about the things you are asking us about. But truly I have
only a very faint idea of what you are on about!
Quote from Wikepedia
================
For other senses of this word, see stigma and stigmata
(disambiguation).
Stigmata are bodily marks, sores, or sensations of pain in locations
corresponding to the crucifixion wounds of Jesus. The term originates
from the line at the end of Saint Paul's Letter to the Galatians where
he says, "I bear on my body the marks of Jesus," with "marks" in the
Latin Vulgate rendered as "stigmata." An individual bearing stigmata
is referred to as a stigmatic.
The causes of stigmata are the subject of considerable debate. Some
contend that they are miraculous, while others argue they are hoaxes
or can be explained medically.
Stigmata are primarily associated with the Roman Catholic faith. Many
reported stigmatics are members of Catholic religious orders. The
majority of reported stigmatics are female.[1]
==================
Another quote
==========
Accusations of fraud
In accusations which are not new, historian Sergio Luzzatto and
others, both religious and non-religious, have accused Padre Pio of
faking his stigmata. Luzzatto's theory, namely that Padre Pio used
carbolic acid to self-inflict the wounds, is based on a document found
in the Vatican's archive -- the testimony of a pharmacist at the San
Giovanni Rotondo, Maria De Vito, from whom he ordered 4 grammes of the
acid. According to De Vito, Padre Pio asked her to keep the order
secret, saying it was to sterilise needles. The document was examined
but dismissed by the Catholic Church during Padre Pio's beatification
process.[82]
The Church likely dismissed the hoax claims base on evidence that the
acid was in fact used for sterilization: "The boys had needed
injections to fight the Spanish Flu which was raging at that time. Due
to a shortage of doctors, Padres Paolino and Pio administered the
shots, using carbolic acid as a sterilizing agent."[83]
============================================================
As you can see there isn't even consent amongst Catholics.
Athiests would prefer naturalistic explanations, not necessarily
fraude though.
Supernaturilstic explanation would have to meet the same question,
why this man, and not another one?!?
Could it be that this man was commiting supernatural fraude:-) ?

This is the real world outside the moron's religion where his myths

Let him prove his stupid ***** first, before rudely and stupidly

Easily answered as you brought Pio in to the discussion. He faked his

One presumes you friends mental processes resemble yours. Birds of a feather,
etc.
2. If Jesus never existed then how do you explain the thorns of Christ
imprinted onto my right arm?
Why should I be under any obligation to explain anything found on your body
parts? How can you be certain, though, that they are the thorns of Jesus and not
of somebody else? Have you the Holy Indentikit for matching up ***** patterns?
3. How do atheists explain the stigmata on Padre Pio?
Again, why should we bother? Or care? Most such wounds, when examined, turn out
to be self-inflicted, and there is no reason to believe that this guy's are any
different from the run of the mill.
If your only response is to tell me to *****, I'll pray for you
since obviously you are a closeminded fool.
Always with the insults when all else fails (and you "all else" ha snot been
anything to write home about). Get back to me with the evidence that your pricks
match the pattern of the crown of thorns on Jesus (and only Jesus). Until then,
feel free to ***** off.

Sorry, but you really ARE a delusional schizophrenic. Fortunately, it's
treatable.

If you're schizophrenic, the "witnesses" could have as easily been part
of the delusion.

I dunno. Why'd you imprint them?

They were self-inflicted. Pio was a fraud.

“It is often argued that religion is valuable because
it makes men good, but even if this were true it would
not be a proof that religion is true. That would be
an extension of pragmatism beyond endurance.
Santa Claus makes children good in precisely the same
way, and yet no one would argue seriously that the
fact proves his existence. The defense of religion is
full of such logical imbecilities.”
