Are the Atheists Right? |
Are the Atheists Right?
The atheists...
They love to tell you how Christianity has taken
more lives than anything else. This is NOT TRUE!
1) It is not "Christian" to murder people because
they do not believe in Christ as Savior.
2) Stop looking at what fallible man does and then
turn around and blame Christianity. Man killing people
and doing it in the name of Christ, does not mean that
there is a problem with Christianity. It means that
there is a problem with man.
The atheists, who are and have to be evolutionists,
love to ask the following question...
"If there's a God, how come there is so many bad things
happening in the world?". If you want to know the
answer to that, why don't you look in the mirror? Man
loves to do evil and then blame God for the results!
Here is the whole issue, summed up, because you see,
the atheist actually likes to ask a question that has a
"no win" situation. Let me explain...
1) If God allows man to do what man decides to do,
that is called "free will" and the atheist complains.
Yet, if God stopped all evil from happening, then man
(if he could), would point his finger at God and say,
"If you loved me, you would let me make my own
decisions and learn from my own mistakes!".
2) If God allows man to make his own decisions
and his own mistakes, man points at God and says,
"If you really are God, how can you allow all of this
evil to exist?!".
You see what I mean? The atheist asks a rigged
question and tries to stack the deck. Thus, his/her
question is not honest to begin with.
As far as Creation and evolution, they love to say
the following...
"Creation is NOT science and no REAL scientist
believes in Creation! It does not offer any
testable theory!"
They also love to compare it to gravity, yet,
Sir Isaac Newton was a six day Creationist!
They also love to say that if you don't believe
in evolution as a scientific fact, how do you
explain using your computer, which is based
on evolutionary science?
Huh?! That isn't anywhere NEAR being true!
It is NOT based on "evolutionary science",
nor is science even evolution.
In fact, the inventors of computer science
and electronics, were six day Creationists!
The next time someone tells you that "Creation
scientists are not real scientists", you provide
them with this message, which shows that not
only was the founder of the scientific method
a creationist, but many of the branches of
science, were invented by creationists, who
all believed in a literal six day creation. To deny
evolution is not to deny God, nor nature, nor
science. In fact, to deny evolution, is to uphold
science, the truth of God and the nature that
God created. And the greatest scientists in
the world knew that. In fact, the greatest
scientific philosopher of all time, Dr. Karl Popper,
said that evolution is not a law, nor a theory
and that it doesn't even rise to the level of an
hypothesis. He said it is nothing more than a
metaphysical research program.
Here is some information, for those who are
interested in THE TRUTH...
From: The Root of the Problem - Dr. James Kennedy
WHAT IS TRUE?
Let us take a little deeper look. First of all, who
invented science? It was Francis Bacon, who is
credited with having been the inventor of the
scientific method, that combination of induction
and deduction, of hypothesis and proof (empirical
proof). Bacon was a devout Christian. He believed
in God. He believed in Christ, he believed in the
Bible, and he believed in Creation. He said that
God had given us two books. He has given us
the book of nature to understand the world, and
the book of Scriptures-and we are to read both
of them, said the founder of science. Wasn't a
Christian? Hardly.
Who was the greatest scientist that ever lived?
A poll taken of scientists just a few years ago
concluded that the greatest scientist that ever
lived was Sir Isaac Newton. If you read a list of
the things that he discovered, it is awesome.
The mathematical laws of gravity are just one
piece of that huge puzzle from this gigantic intellect.
He was, also, among other things, the co-discoverer
of calculus. Sir Isaac Newton. Newton believed in
God, he believed in Christ, he believed in the Bible,
and he believed in creation. To the utter chagrin
of modern evolutionary scientists, he wrote more
books on theology than he did on science. He still
became the greatest scientist that has ever lived,
according to them.
CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS
If the scientific method was invented by a Christian
and the greatest scientist that ever lived was a
Christian, what about the people that gave us all
of the various branches of science? Who were they?
Let me tell you about them. They were all men that
believed in God, believed in Christ, believed in the
Bible, and believed in creation. Not an evolutionist
among them. Who were they:
The inventor of Antiseptic Surgery was Joseph Lister,
who was all of the above.
Bacteriology - Louis Pasteur - all of the above.
Calculus - Sir Isaac Newton, as I've said.
Celestial Mechanics - Johann Kepler, who said that
science was thinking God's thoughts after Him.
Chemistry - Robert Boyle, who left a large sum of
money in his will that a series of lectures should
be taught in his university in England defending
the Christian faith. An unbeliever? Hardly.
Comparative Anatomy - Georges Cuvier.
Computer Science - Charles Babbage.
Dimensional Analysis - Lord Rayleigh.
Dynamics - Isaac Newton.
Electrodynamics - James Clerk Maxwell.
Electromagnetics - Michael Faraday, who had
about twenty-two honorary doctorates. He was
being given a huge award by the king at a banquet
on a Wednesday night. After the banquet, the
people talked for a while, and then he was called
up to receive his award, and they found that he had
slipped out to go to prayer meeting. That is what
you would have done, isn't it? After all, what is an
award from the king compared to worshiping God.
Electronics - Ambrose Fleming.
Energetics - Lord Kelvin, a great Christian.
Entomology of Living Insects - Henri Fabre.
Field Theory - Michael Faraday.
Fluid Mechanics - George Stokes.
Galactic Astronomy - William Herschel.
Gas Dynamcs - Robert Boyle.
Genetics - Gregor Mendel.
Glacial Geology - Louis Agassiz of Harvard,
a great Christian man.
Gynecology - James Simpson
Hydraulics - Leonardo da Vinci
Hydrography - Matthew Maury
Hydrostatics - Blaise Pascal.
Ichthyology - Louis Agassiz.
Isotopic Chemistry - William Ramsay.
Model Analysis - Lord Rayleigh.
Natural History - John Ray.
Non-Euclidean Geometry - Bernhard Riemann.
Oceanography - Matthew Maury.
Optical Mineralogy - David Brewster.
Paleontology - John Woodward.
Pathology - Rudolph Virchow.
Physical Astronomy - Johann Kepler.
Reversible Thermodynamics - James Joule.
Statistical Thermodynamics - James Clerk Maxwell.
Stratigraphy - Nicholas Steno.
Systematic Biology - Carolus Linnaeus.
Thermodynamics - Lord Kelvin.
Thermokinetics - Humphrey Davy.
Vertebrate Paleontology - George Cuvier.
They were Christians, all believers in creation.
We actually had an evolutionist in a debate
here many years ago who made this astounding
statement: "Creation is not scientific, and therefore,
anyone who believes in creation is not a scientist."
How's that again? He had better go back and
read a little of his own history to find out if that
is true.

Pastor Dave, you are not dealing with practical atheism here.
You are dealing with the God-Haters.
Why can't you realize that?
What your fav rodent has found dealing with militant atheists:
They pretty much all work from the same script.
Although viewing themselves as "free thinkers", they
got a Party Line they follow rather closely.
It isn't difficult to anticipate their arguments on any
given point. I almost always can correctly predict what they'll say next.
Interestingly, militant atheists get much of their beliefs about
"Christianity" from liberal Christians.
They'll pejoratively label all Christians as "Fundies",
then presumptively attack liberal theological concepts
they suppose us "Fundies" subscribe to !
Nearly all militant atheists are followers of the
religion of Scientism. Their priests wear white lab
coats. Their sacramental objects are the microscope,
the telescope, and the test tube. Blasphemy is to
deny the ultimate authority of science.
But the militant atheists -the ones who have devoted
their lives to refuting Christianity- are almost like the
demons ...who believe more firmly in God's existence
than do Christians !

Ummm, no. The murdered person did not make the decision to be murdered. Do I
violate the free will of a drowning person by throwing them a life
preserver? And what of Tsunamis, tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, that are
no one's fault?
You seek to grant your god all of the authority, but none of the
responsibility. You worship a god with no integrity.

Accept the dream He gave instead of yours. It is not difficult to
change a dream when once the dreamer has been recognized.
Rest in the Holy Spirit, and allow His gentle dreams to take the
place of those you dreamed in terror and in fear of death. He
brings forgiving dreams, in which the choice is not who is the
murderer and who shall be the victim.
In the dreams He brings there is no murder and there is no
death. The dream of guilt is fading from your sight, although
your eyes are closed. A smile has come to lighten up your
sleeping face. The sleep is peaceful now, for these are happy
dreams.

In article <3CUPe.6217$ct5.3896@fed1read04>, says...
Accept the dream He gave instead of yours. It is not difficult to
change a dream when once the dreamer has been recognized.

place of those you dreamed in terror and in fear of death. He
brings forgiving dreams, in which the choice is not who is the

I'm not even going to try to decipher this poetic gibberish. I didn't actually
try to decipher the last
one either, I just posted a thought that I found
humorous that your previous post provoked.
In other words, my response wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Assuming you
did take it seriously. I can't really tell from the above quote.

The attraction of light must draw you willingly, and willingness

your willing witnesses to the love you gave them, and it is
they who hold it out to you. In sleep you are alone, and
your awareness is narrowed to yourself. And that is why
the nightmares come. You dream of isolation because your
eyes are closed. You do not see your brothers, and in the
darkness you cannot look upon the light you gave to them."
Is it really necessary to lie about those outside your religion? I
have never understood why so many Christians are so nasty about this.

Let the atheists explain this with science. Anyone who believes in
*coincidence* or *karma*, etc. needs to quit lying to themselves.
NOTHING happens by coincidence. Karma DOES NOT exist. The following link
and audio file proves it. A stunningly and frighteningly accurate
prophecy from over a month ago warned us of this disaster. God is tired
of our ways and He is not going to continue to be patient. The same
loving, merciful, gracious God of the Bible is also a God of
unimaginable wrath. We'd better start getting ourselves right or there
will be more situations even worse than Katrina to follow. Nations rise

good for you and your eternity.

secret:
Jesus Christ is dead, my friend. Live with it.
If he ever existed.

Oh mighty Arkleseizure, thou gazed from high above.
And sneezed from out thy nostrils, a gift of bounteous love.
The universe around us emerged from thy nose.
Now we await with eager expectation, thy handkerchief,

Nations rise
in God and fall in rebellion. America is on a rapid decline and most of
us don't even realize it. It's a shame the world is full of fools. He
who has ears let him hear. He who has eyes let him see.
He who has medication, let him take it.

*****, do you people think we've never seen your arguments before?
Anyway, here goes.
Are the Atheists Right?
The atheists...
They love to tell you how Christianity has taken
more lives than anything else. This is NOT TRUE!
1) It is not "Christian" to murder people because
they do not believe in Christ as Savior.
It may not be dogma, but Christians are the only ones to do this.
2) Stop looking at what fallible man does and then
turn around and blame Christianity. Man killing people
and doing it in the name of Christ, does not mean that
there is a problem with Christianity. It means that
there is a problem with man.
We're not saying Christianity itself killed something, but that it
fails to prevent its adherents from committing murders.
The atheists, who are and have to be evolutionists,
love to ask the following question...
Have to be? Atheists don't have to accept evolution, they just have a
tendency to do so.
"If there's a God, how come there is so many bad things
happening in the world?".
I would be ashamed if I used such poor grammar.
If you want to know the
answer to that, why don't you look in the mirror? Man
loves to do evil and then blame God for the results!
I do not blame any sky pixie for the results of evil. I accept
responsibility for my own actions. I do, however, blame Christianity
for encouraging people to commit evil. You give your adherents a blank
check to do as they will, but if they believe in Jesus, they'll still
be rewarded.
Let me explain, real quick. Your god is supposedly omniscient,
omnipotent, transcendent, and benevolent. (Did I miss one?) So the fact
that he created a universe that he knew ahead of time would be full of
evil is contradictory to the concept of benevolence. We don't complain
that god gave us free will (in fact, we don't complain about anything
god did). Rather, we assert that if your specific flavor of god exists
and created the universe, he created a rigged game that we all lose.
***** that god.
As far as Creation and evolution, they love to say
the following...
"Creation is NOT science and no REAL scientist
believes in Creation! It does not offer any
testable theory!"
Creation isn't science. It's mythology. That's all there is to it. It
doesn't matter how many experts you line up, unless they can show
scientifically that the universe was created, it's still just their
favorite mythology.
Also, some real scientists do believe in creation. But they understand
that it is religion, not science.
They also love to compare it to gravity, yet,
Sir Isaac Newton was a six day Creationist!
Isaac Newton also died a virgin. Biologically speaking, he was
unsuccessful. Are you going to take his word on any biological subject?
Furthermore, Newton wasn't around when evolution was proposed. Would
you really expect him to accept a theory that hasn't been set forth?
They also love to say that if you don't believe
in evolution as a scientific fact, how do you
explain using your computer, which is based
on evolutionary science?
What the bloody hell? When has anyone claimed that computers are based
on evolution?
Huh?! That isn't anywhere NEAR being true!
It is NOT based on "evolutionary science",
nor is science even evolution.
You're setting up strawmen. Nobody makes that argument.
In fact, the inventors of computer science
and electronics, were six day Creationists!
And we're supposed to take the word of computer geeks over biologists?
The next time someone tells you that "Creation
scientists are not real scientists", you provide
them with this message, which shows that not
only was the founder of the scientific method
a creationist,
The founder of the scientific method? You dipshit, Newton didn't found
the scientific method. He did a lot of work on mechanics and calculus.
The modern scientific method was based on Descarte's rationalism and
Bacon's empiricism. It stresses observation, induction, and testing.
You cannot do this for creation, and thus it is simply not science.
but many of the branches of
science, were invented by creationists, who
all believed in a literal six day creation.
Again, who cares? A widespread belief does not make truth.
To deny
evolution is not to deny God, nor nature, nor
science.
Well, it is to deny science. See, evolution has been observed.
In fact, to deny evolution, is to uphold
science, the truth of God and the nature that
God created. And the greatest scientists in
the world knew that. In fact, the greatest
scientific philosopher of all time, Dr. Karl Popper,
said that evolution is not a law, nor a theory
and that it doesn't even rise to the level of an
hypothesis. He said it is nothing more than a
metaphysical research program.
Karl Popper advanced the ideas of falsifiability. Evolution is a
falsifiable theory, and has not been proven false. So until we gather
data that goes against the theory, we can treat it as true.
-snip-
Come on, you can do better than copying and pasting somebody else's
work.
A major tenet of your belief in creation seems to be that "a lot of
other people believed in it". Once again, popularity does not imply
truth.

What the bloody hell? When has anyone claimed that computers are based
on evolution?
I'd say computers can be equated to evolution. Taking a step back into the
70s we had the big mainframe computers - suddenly somebody built a slightly
smaller one, taking all the good "genes" from the super big one and creating
a newer, smaller offspring - then companies opted for the smaller model and
the big ones became redundant. Then somebody designs a faster computer, and
the "faster" genes are bought by companies taking all the good things from
the old machines and the old technology gets left behind again and so on ...
and so on. Many new processors are being created but only the best ones
survive the market ("survival of the fitest") and then 10 years down the
road a mark II of that processor comes out (smaller, faster, quieter, more
instructions on the chip etc) and the old ones die out. And the evolution
process of computers still goes on to this day in terms of operating system,
hardware, architecture, data rates and software.

<effigies@gmail.com> spake thusly:
*****, do you people think we've never seen
your arguments before?
Taking the Lord's name in vain only helps shatter
your credibility.
Anyway, here goes.
Are the Atheists Right?

1) It is not "Christian" to murder people because
they do not believe in Christ as Savior.
It may not be dogma, but Christians are the only ones to do this.
Thank you for showing your genuine stupidity.
It is not ignorance, because history tells us that
the opposite is true, as I noted below. Atheist
nations have done more killing than any other.
You defeat your own argument.
If "it" can't kill, because it is an "it", then "it"
would automatically be unable to prevent killing
and so, you are a hypocrite for blaming "it".
The atheists, who are and have to be evolutionists,
love to ask the following question...
Have to be? Atheists don't have to accept evolution,
they just have a tendency to do so.
No liar, they MUST. Either evolution is true, or there
was a Designer.
"...we have a prior commitment, a commitment to
materialism. It is not that the methods and
institutions of science somehow compel us to accept
a material explanation of the phenomenal world, but,
on the contrary, that we are forced by our 'a priori'
adherence to material causes to create a set of
concepts that produce material explanations, no matter
how counter-intuitive, no matter how mystifying to the
uninitiated. Moreover, that materialism is an
absolute, for we cannot allow a Divine Foot in the
door." - Richard Lewontin, "Billions and Billions
of Demons, The New York Review of Books,
January 9, 1997, p. 31
