Arguments against the existence of Hell |
If anyone here knows of any good sites and books with convincing
arguments against the concept and the existence of Hell, I would
appreciate it immensely. Thanks.

I have a good one: all of the same reasons that Hades isn't real.

As if there were any convincing arguments (or any real evidence) for the
existence of Hell.

A real quick review clearly shows you still don't have any knowledge of God and
what he represents. You ebonmusing is falling off the ledge it's so far off
from the truth.

No need to keep telling us about yourself, Earl. We know you don't
know anything about the religion you claim to be part of.

It's an unfalsifiable concept. You can't evidence the non-existence
of unfalsifiable concepts.

Why do you need arguments against an assertion for which there's
absolutely no objective evidence?
Do you believe in Atlantis? Do you believe in Jon Carter's Mars? Do
you need arguments against them?

Ben
You don't actually need to argue against the existence of Hell.
You can study the *Idea* of hell but you cant say anything factual
about Hell as a place.
Same goes for God - you can talk about peoples *ideas* about God but
you cant actually know or say anything at all about "God" itself.
(Actually people talk about God continuously but its just meaningless
and futile babble)
Trees, rocks and stars are different.
You can talk about both *ideas* about trees, rocks and stars and about
the things themselves.
So you can say "I think Hell is a revolting and perverse idea" and
someone else can think it would be "really cool" if it existed.
That's about it really.
Personally I think its a revolting idea and don't want to hang with
people who think the existence of Hell woul be "a good thing".
How 'bout you?
Mark.
