article: welcome to faith-based america |
I had missed the Sept 30 story linked to in the story:
http://www.alternet.org/story/27122/
Here's that, where a judge threw out most of a case against the
Salvation Army, who fired non-Christians from a program that's
95% financed by the US gov't:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/10/19/AR2005101902122_pf.html
Yes, the theocratic Bush administration can now use federal money
to finance programs through religious groups, who can fire anyone
who isn't Christian, unless this is overturned.
Here's the ACLU page on it:

The beautiful part is that it was not against the law.

So, you're saying that its' somehow "beautiful" that religious
discrimination can be legally funded by the state?
Of course you are. That's just about your moral level. Right up there
with any other theocracy.

You mean like abortion?
Of course you must mean that. A group of proper religious morons,
like you, using the law to further their superstition under the guise
of legality. Even if they said Cannibal Catholics not allowed, you'd
smile and say 'that's the law, tee hee'.
You're so fucking stupid it's criminal.
