Asto Vidatu [disintegrator of bodies]

He started life as a minor demon & suffered a promotion to a god of
death, one which no mortal can escape. From conception till death,
everyone should know that his noose is around their neck, seriously.
Together with Aesma Daeva, he tries to prevent souls from reaching
heaven. & yes, as with all devas, he has an eternal opponent. As a side
event, in middle Persian texts he is the chief representative of the
Devil. Heh, & the revealed gods of the desert claim the only devil that
counts.
