At last, a real option to see future |
When jay stevens, aka dr. jai etc., failed to predict the tsunami, a real
practitioner stepped in to save the day. With jay's track record so poor
we now have a real option in a real person with a track record. He too
notes the "dr." fraud by which jay attempts to enhance an otherwise poor
image.
From: "Ed Augusts" <AugustsBks@aol.com>
Even if an astrologer has a notion, or foresight, that a deadly
earthquake and tsunami might soon occur, this does not obligate him, or
make it exactly easy for him (or her) to make loud and noisy warnings
to everyone who will listen. Many astrologers are very private souls,.
not ones to sound a clarion call; and others do not wish to have
derision and hatred heaped upon them, like many in the Newsgroups like
to do, at the first peep they make. Why would any 'prophet' subject
themselves to THAT, even if they do have valuable insights about future
events? So I think your criticism is not very realistic or thoughtful.
(By the way, I don't know enough about "Dr. Jai" to comment on him in
particular, he sure is on top of the news, ever-ready to post it, here
and abroad! Calling oneself a "Dr" without a Ph.D. seems rather sad
and also fairly commonplace, there is also a "Dr." Turi lurking
around, giving very peculiar Astro forecasts, mostly based on the Lunar
Nodes, or "Dragons", as he calls them, whom I don't believe is a
"real" doctor, either!)
I had tsunamis and earthquakes on my mind for 2 to 3 weeks before the
actual event took place, and I was the first person to post a message
here in this Group about the quake once it did take place, it was still
Christmas Night when I posted that, I do believe. Which means, by a
curious irony, that the quake occurred on December 26th, local Sumatran
time, but I posted a message about it on December 25th, here on the
West Coast of the U.S..
I posted copies of a series of e-mail messages having to do with my
preoccupation with tsunamis and earthquakes in the days prior to the
event, on 1/5/05.. It appears here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ASTRO_PSYCHIC/message/623
I don't usually have tsunamis on my mind, but I sure did in the weeks
prior to the Asian tsunami of December 26th, and I AM an astrologer who
has used various psychic techniques in a lifetime of learning and
adventure.. But although I had tsunamis and earthquakes on my mind, I
could not pinpoint where one was going to occur. But if I had posted
any kind of warning here, I would have been laughed at for my trouble,
I know that, and I didn't do that!
Kindest Regards, -----Ed Augusts

In our last episode <41ebfea7$0$63180$4d5ecec7@reader.city-net.com>, hope
lept out of the bushes shouting:

I guess "to save thousands of lives" isn't the answer he's looking for?
After every major disaster, people come crawling out of the woodwork,
claiming they "predicted" it. The only thing they failed to do is provide
useful information before the disaster which could be used to save actual
human lives.
If anybody really has any such ability, they should feel a moral
obligation to allow it to be verified with *scientific *rigor so that it
can be useful to humanity. Otherwise, they're just masturbating their
egos, exploiting human suffering, and are immoral scum who should shut the
***** up.
